We are all different and put on weight at different levels so if someone has the balls to post a pic up in this room then its just polite to keep negative thoughts to yourself. If you think someone is wasting their time then they may need ot be guided in another direction so all positive input very welcome.

As for pics of me? Not just yet.
Fair reply mate. If there are two of you using that account then the other poster was very insulting to a member a while back when it was uncalled for.

I have had a very shitty year training wise as my wife gave birth to our son a year ago this week. Nothing could have prepared me for the tiredness and lack of energy that comes with the joys. I've had to train at a later time due to wanting to see my boy before he goes to bed and unfortunately my training partner didn't wish to train an hour later. I have had quite a few months of training alone (literally the only one in the gym) which I am not very good at as I do not push myself. Especially when I can't be arsed. Things are on the up now though, got a new training partner and I'm starting to train properly again.

Well after readin througha fair few of these threads, i simply dont think there ar enough pictures here!
So.. use this as a pic thread, either before and after pics, with stats, OR pics of what you REALISTICALLY would like to acheive.
No gassing, just pics!
Ill go first to kick you all off!
Since the age of 13 i have always battle with my weight... been big, then been skinny, been big then been skinny. I dont have many pics, but these few will give you an idea of how my weight and fitness levels go up and down.
This was me at my heaviest only 2years ago. Bang on 11stone:

After seeing this very pic i actually got off my arse and started to change my lifestyle. it took a while to notice any difference, but i altered my eating habits, and started walking (i know this sounds daft but it was a brisk power walk round a big block, which was more than i was ever doing)
Im trying to stick to my ideal weight of 9 stone, but currently at 9 and a half.

My IDEAL figure, would be something like this:

My legs are my problem! If i work on them, they get bigger

Stay the shape you are in my opinion, you look really curvy! and thats good!!!! non of this skinny ribs and size zero poop!
I know what you mean about the flabby bits under boobs, i have a massiv problem with mine and i can't figure out how to get rid, although at the moment i am only working on cardio stuff and only touch on ab crunch machines at the end of a sesh.
That before and after pic is a massive inspiration for me! Its got me really motivated to lose weight now! Thanks
Can i ask what height you are?? I am 5ft5 or thereabouts and 11st 4lbs, i have lost 2lbs already just by trying to get to the gym more and working on the right machines for a change
Thanks for the inspiration again

Awww steph thank you!
Its nice to hear i can be an inspiration!
You should put your pics up chick!
I am 5ft 4'' in total....
Ive been going down the gym for 4 weeks now, and i have lost a total of 3 pounds... BUT i actually seem to be eating more!
I spoke to my trainer about the flabby bits under my boobs... and i swear she is a born again reincarnation of the devil!
All she goes on about is CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO!! Apparenlt cardio will do everything for me i will ever need!
I wish i could describe the exercise that i have been doing, but ive noticed it helps with my side abs (sorry dont know the name!) AND a little bit of the flabby bits under my boobs!
Basically.... the lay on your side, with your elbow at a right angle, so its almost like youre just chilling out on it... then... you put your feet together, and lift your bum off the floor!
Hold it for 10 seconds then relax... roll over onto the other side and do the same.
then do 2 more reps, but hold them for 12 seconds... tis fab!
Ill see if i can find a diagram!

Oh and should have said, you WILL be eating more because you're using up a lot more calories than you normally would! Obviously if you cut those out though, better gains (or should that be losses?) are to be had!
I know someone who lost about 10lbs in a week taking them. Obviously you'd have be retaining a lot of water in the first place to be able to lose that much, but shows they work. You can buy them HRI ones from the big supermarkets and stuff as well
i keep thinking about going to the gym but im always too tired. And just lazy!!!!
But if you want to lose some weight its simple- either eat less or move more, preferrably both for quicker results.
Simple and easy changes make huge differences. Swap chocolate for fruit. if you like crisps, eat healther ones. If you drink coke, swap to coke zero etc etc.
I maintain a weight that is lower than where my body naturally wants to be (and probably messed up my metabolism) so anything over 800cals puts weight on me.
Women should aim for 2000cals each day and with doing cardio you should easily notice some differences.

Regarding my physique id love a bit more shape and size around the chest, shoulder and arm area ( I have a dippy chest in the middle
) and to loose my belly a tad and tone up.
As said any recomendations to what techniquies I should be doing, what I should be eating and drinking, shakes etc etc.

most people join gyms and hit the heavy stuff but the core muscles hold it all in the right place
Aquarious, post some updates in 3 months time. Don't go observing yourself in the meantime and refrain from weighing yourself as much as possible.
I'm gonna stick up one of me from a rear view, as hopefully I'll be able to stick some up of me in 3 months time and fingers crossed see some improvement.

Advice from the gurus welcome as always
