PIC Thread!

I think its time I started to train again, I have not been since before xmas and even then I had only been back into it for a couple of months. I have however been cycling quite regularly since December and have knocked a little bit of weight off but not a lot. Im just a naturally pretty well built/porky person so Im not bothered about shifting weight. Im around 18st now and 6ft 2". I love it when Im into training properly and the weight and size piles on, Im like a reverse anorexic one I start, I never feel big enough. The single biggest issue with me struggling to get back into training properly is the lack of a strict finishing time from work. I used to work with the lad I train with and we used to clock out at 5 every day and go straight to the gym and be in for 5.20 at the latest. Now I work elsewhere and finishing at 5 is impossible, its usually pack up at between 5 and 5.15 then by the time I lock up and could get to the gym its around 5.45. The lad I trained with lives around 15 miles away so he cant hang about for 30 minutes in the car park waiting for me to turn up. Need to get something sorted it pisses me off to think about it
I have a couple of pics of me after I trained for a couple month at the end of last year but they been on PF before so Ill not put em up again. Im scared to take any of me at the mo

Train 3 times a week and cut your food intake by 10% and you should really see results.
You don't have to completely cut out things that are "bad" for you that you like, just cut down, and cut down your meal portion sizes by 10% and you'll be onto a winner.
Ern, I get addicted/frustrated because I never feel big enough, but that's 'cos I'm nowhere near big enough, lol. I'm 6'3"1/2 and was 10st 3lbs before I started training. 18 months later I'm 13st 6lbs, so I've improved a lot, but still nowhere near the shape I'd like to be, and it's getting tougher now. I'm slightly conscious as well 'cos I don't wanna put on "bad" weight. I've eased off the weights and high calorie diet a bit for the past few months because I'd started to a gain a little bit of a stomach, so am stil doing weights, but less, and started cardio again.
I'm pretty pleased with my back and shoulders, they've come on leaps and bounds. My arms aren't too bad, triceps are ok, biceps getting there, but I still got well skinny forearms.
My chest is my weak point though. I was born with a weird-shaped breastbone, and can't get the muscles to develop very well round it. I've got broader in the chest, but not grown outwards, and if I stretch up just slightly you can still see my ribs 'cos they're an odd shape too!
I took a pic last week which I was gonna post on here, but I'm still wayyyyy too conscious

I was 19st 13lb at my biggest, 20.5 inch arms and 54 inch chest. That was around 4 years ago now iirc. I miss the gym like fuck, I have even been tempted to look for another job just so I can get back into clocking off at 5 and going training.

I weighed myself this morning and I'm smack on 11 stone, so I'm chuffed. I'm not gonna try lose any more weight now, just stick where I am and start training a bit harder.
My belly hasn't changed much since the last photo but I'm starting to notice difference in my arms, which is purely down to press ups to date. I'm gonna invest in some weights soon 'cos I would deffo like bigger arms.

Mike - Was that a typo, or were you actually 10 st 3? Can't imagine being that weight at nearly 6 ft 4!
I'm 5 ft 10 and just over 10 stone. I've got a slight build, so that's actually me with quite a bit of muscle. I've just started lifting again, and am aiming at getting around 11 stone. I'll be pretty well built at that.
But seriously, 10 st 3 at 6ft 4? You must have been pretty slim!

That's me now mate!
I ain't close to being big and training to be "big", but I'm a LOT bigger than I was. I've gained 3st since I started. Just looking like a human being was my main aim!

Fair play kieron, yeah rs turbo lad dont be being a tool towards someone who has got the balls to put a pick up of themselves. Fair play Mike C, keep working and ignore any negative comments. When your tall you have a bigger frame to fill out and it takes a while before you get the shape coming through. Keep it up mate.
