Few of me lately. I've actually cut weights right down to 2-3 hours a week, but running alot 20 odd miles a week right now due to possibley joining the Army. Eating 200+grams of protein though and alot of carbs and I'm getting bigger than I was just weight lifting

Looking like you've added some weight there mate. What were you in the before pics and how much bulk do you think is fat?
I trimmed up a bit during this year and lost some bulk. Now sitting at around 17.5 stone (243lbs ish).
Still working on growing. I do wonder what I could achieve if I reduced my protein intake per meal and stopped wasting some? Sorry Luke. TBH I don't eat near the 1.5g per lb most days!

Im certainly carrying more fat than Id like. Just so easy bulking My diet is pretty simple. eat as much clean as I can. Aim for 3300 kcal but I hardly ever count. I drink 1300 a day and the rest is from chicken/turkey/lean beef and potatos. Been at it 7 month solid this year and feel great. Another year of the same and I reckon I 'may' be happy!!
Some nice shoulders their Kieron.

Ah fack, the big lads are back out You look like you've cut loads, Keiron to be fair.
Steven, you must be a big lump at 17.5 @ 5'8!
I'm feeling bloody scrawny as hell, not touched a weight in 13 months now, all cardio, but to be fair, I'm not looking like a rake like I feel I do. Still got a 14.5 inch bicep and 12 1/4 forearm. Shade under 12 stone @ 5'8 Alot of my weights in my legs though, I can't believe how big they are at the moment.
Excuse the crap pics.
Can't wait to get through basic training and get on the weights again.

I didn't notice your height before, you must look pretty stocky at the same weight as me and only 5.8. I'm just over 6ft I think. I have an image of RamMan in my head, if you ever go to a fancy dress party just plop a pail over your head and go as him.

To be fair your still in good shape and nice and lean. Shouldn't take too long to put it back on. Especially if your introduced to a proper gym and not just a loft with some bags of flour.
If you enjoy lifting then the dedication bit is easy!

Actually just laughted out loud. nothing wrong with my prison gym....if you're in prison. Nah, I am a member of a gym now, although I just use the cardio equipment, I'm going to start using the weights when I can.

You're looking very well Kieron!
Have you/when was the last time you ran any gear? If you don't mind me asking!
Regardless, you're looking massive.

Would have been a good idea for a new thread. Changes in 2011 to see who has improved and by how much.

Thought I would jump on the bandwagon and post some pics of myself up -
Im 29 years old, about 6 foot 3 and just shy of 18 stone.
I play Rugby atleast once a week and go the gym to do what we call Caveman training (basically lifting beer barrels, flipping tractor tyres, climbing ropes, sit ups, burpees, kettle bells, jogging, skipping, press ups and generally running around like loonies lol) atleast twice a week -
When we do the caveman training I can keep up with everyone apart from the Press ups and rope climbing, I really need to work more on my arms.
My legs are big and strong because I do alot of Running, Rugby and cycling.
My main weakness is chocolate / junk food, I eat far too much and it does hinder me but when I try to stop eating it I get really grouchy and lazy so only end up quitting for about a month then slip back into my old ways .
What do people suggest for getting bigger stronger arms and a more defined upper body?

I'm in rehab at the moment for an injury, but it means I get to do upperbody gym work everyday. Only done two weeks so far but my arms have come back already and quads are massive from tabbing. Still need to work on my traps, hamstrings and lower back though. Especially my lower back, it's shit!
If anyone's got any advice on how to train my lower back without using my legs i.e deadlifting etc let me know.

Can't do Deads as I've got a fractured pelvis so can't load it up. Been doing some hyperextentions though, just wanted a bit more variety as they're getting boring lol. Most of the exercises I've been given seem to be yoga and I'm not sure how much strength they will bring?

Lots of core work will hit the lower back. Will give you loads of strength but little size. Look up hip thrusts for example. Can do it weighted or not. Off a bench or off a gym ball for extra core involvement.
