I was 228 then and im 6ft.
Im now 211, not looking as good though! I dont want to get over 215 as I feel slugish, not good as I do Kickboxing! I am going to get to 205 and see how I feel then. Also having to much weight limits my walking time with my dogs and im not happy if I cant take them on a good walk as my dogs mean everything to me!

Quality Bradz, good luck with the comp etc.
Ive lost 4 stone since the beginning of december, i have taken photos every month ish, can see big changes, but i want to keep at it, keep taking pics, then show them when im all buffed up an shit.

Ok so my first pic is about 6 months ago, diet was not quite right and a few other bits missing from my workout, anyway a small chat with Godzilla via Pm and the 2nd photo is the result.
I am 6ft and now currently just over 12 stone. I found it extremely difficult to put on weight and size(genetics as i am of Slim build)
Anyway the pics

After a little help starting to fill out put on decent muscle mass which is my aim
For me i am very happy with the results so far and hope bigger gains are yet to come

Same principle for blokes (or women I guess) who want ripped abs. Some people who want the six pack look will dedicate god knows how much time to doing sit-ups, but unless they've got the tiniest, thinnest layer of fat, they're abs are never going to come through, no matter how many sit-ups they do and how big and strong they make they're abs. You've got to have the flattest, flattest stomach before you'll see your abs coming through.
Same priniple here really I'd say. I'd recommend you base a cardio workout around a decent cross-trainer. Think of the action. It's great for burning fat, but it'll also target that area particularly well.
Couple that with a good all-round shaping routine and I can't see how you'd fail tbh. You've got a hell of a good base to start from!

Cheers Mike - its a really good point youve made to be honest, and dont be daft of course you dont come accross wrong!
Im off to see 3 different types of gyms today, so im hoping that by joining one of these, it'll give me the motivation i need to actually work at it other than moaning at it!

Ok my turn......be gentle haha..been training for 15 months now....before pics where taken right when I started training 15 months ago & after pics were taken during January this year (so 13 months in)
I'm happy with my progress so far - looking forward to how I get on this year!! This years mission is Biceps & ABS.

Hi chick
My mate has just called me. I called her earlier but went to answer machine!
She said to do high rep squats. Whilst doing the sqauts you must keep your abs clenched. I told her what your weight was and how tall, she said do 4 sets of 10 reps. Also do shrugs, 4 sets of 10 again. She said it is a real pain of an area to work but the 2 of the above hits that area, cant work out how shrugs will help but she is better than me on how to get a female bod into great shape..... I can help with diets for women though!

I joined a gym today!! So, i am gonna speak to the trainer there too about what machines will help me!
I was being showed round and all was good until we got to the freeweight room.... my god the testosterone in there could of killed a cow!

Im doing nabba first timers in may so having to work my ass off to get ready for it.
On the modeling route its deffo something i want to get into when i do get in shape, as Come May i should be looking spot on for it.

To be fair i now try to eat very little in the evening.... and i rarely eat after 4ish anyway!
my main problem is the amount i eat before then!!
I literally, could eat from the minute i wake up to the minute i go to sleep!
I dont do ANY exercise at all! NONE! So im hoping, that obviously ifi i start doing some exercise, AND reduce my intake of food a little, the combination of the two will be good!

Eat some high carbs for breakfast chick, something like oats, ultra good! Then have some brown bread sandwiches filled with either tuna or chicken for lunch followed by an apple. Mid afternoon have a banana. Dinner should be at 5-30 to 6..... This should consist of any white or red meat with some veg. Buy some frozen mixed veg from Tesco's. Ultra easy to cook, just boil it up.....done!! If you have the munchies later then have an apple. Saturday, eat whatever you want till 6pm then nothing till Sunday morning. Sunday can be a semi-cheat day, dont go to mad with Mc'd's, Burger King, KFC etc!! Also with your height and weight drink 4 pints of water a day. You need to be getting 45-1hr of cardio in a day.....do you still have a hound? Excellent for you and the hound! My hounds both go on a 45 min fast walk a day, although my German Sheoherd is now just over 10 years old so have to be a bit carefull due to her hips. Oh.....another thing!! Take a good Multi-vit, this is very important! A top one is Berocca, but at nearly £5 for 15 tabs they are expensive......although I can get them loads cheaper!!

Ooooh i used to take berooca all the time, in the soluble form! Illuminous orange!
My problem is paul, i could SERIOUSLY out eat you all! My appetite is HUGE!! So what youre writing above, would leave me feeling starved! The only time i have ever had my appetite suppressed is when i was taking eph... OR the modafinil, but thats expensive!
I am mainly hungry between 8am and 2pm i always eat some sort of cereal in the morning with an activia yoghurt, or some toast and an activia.... Then by 10, i feel starving again!!!
No i dont have a doggie anymore! Im thinking of getting a house bunny but i dont think i can walk that so far!
But the gym will be helping my with my cardio, and my fat arse!
