well i went around painters tonight, car is 99% done, just gotta buff it up and fit a couple of bits.
then ill hopefully be able have it trailored up to my mate at gt motorsport so we can fit side decals and all other remaining bits, eg side skirts etc

i didnt get any pics as i left my other phone at home, but i have had my camera back so will be transferring all the pics off there tonight, just had a quick browse they have took some good uns although only 1 has been taken off the finished product, dont worry though ill be sure to take plenty at weekend

Have you booked the m.o.t? I've got a busy weekend, working now then get home eat and change, take my daughter on the Harry potter tour. 2moz his her 7th birthday, again I'm working then going to see my mum and dad as she has made a cake for her etc, then Sunday she goes swimming and after that bowling with her cousins and aunt and uncle then cooking a nice meal for all of us. Just a little to do lol.

mot not booked but i wont have a problem getting it in if needs be.

christ mate sounds as if you have a very busy weekend.

i also have alot on, gotta drop my ladies car off at auto electricians due to her rad fan deciding it doesnt want to work anymore, have checked all obvious things to no avail.
its also my neices 9th birthday tomorrow so want spend some time with her along with working on my car etc, i was hoping to go darley moor on sunday but the weather forecast is shocking so might give it a miss.

Nothing like a busy weekend then bk to work feeling worse lol.

The Harry potter tour was awesome, my little and mrs loved it. Alisha got to sit on a broom with a green background and they did a few pics with her flying over hogwarts etc and got to pretend she was flying with a screen and a fan etc.
some really interesting things in there, but the shop isn't cheap. Only bad point is my camera batteries died but used my phone so got some good pics.

tell me about it mate, spoke to my mate who owns gt motorsport last night and i cant send my car up there until monday now as there is no room in the garage to store it until then .
so im going up pay the painter up today and then do any bits that i can up there for an hour or 2.

sounds like a good day was had by all mate and as long as the mrs and lil un are happy thats all that matters

decals being fitted tomorrow, then it just needs side skirts fitting and it can go for m.o.t which it should pass easily so ill be able tax it on saturday.
also going to waxoyl it on saturday morning and refit my flocked door cards, give it a good clean inside then its ready to rock (i hope)

one side of my decals have been fitted, she wanted me go up and check i was happy with them before doing the other side.

anyone that knows me off here or over on facebook will know i suffer with a bad back quite alot and yet again its giving me alot of problems, but needless to say i will still be going to waxoyl my car tomorrow morning before the other sides decals are fitted

what colour are the decals? are they the red ones? been talking to a guy i know who does nissan parts, Ł3500 for engine, wiring loom, pumps, front and rear diffs, and gearbox from a r33 gtr told him a project i had in mind and haven't heard/seen of anyone yet that has done it but think there must be someone out there that has done this before. I've seen people keep the car rwd but with any sort of power it has little traction. im thinking awd

i managed to fully waxoyl the car and we also made a new fuel reserve tank support strap as mine was knackered.

onto the decals everything was going fine all fitted and looked the business and then we come to remove the protective covers off them all i can say is it wouldnt hardly budge even with some heat on them, so it looks as if im going have to remove them and have the bottoms of my doors etc re painted not happy at all

bit of an update regarding the decals, it was fount out they dont come with a protective film so was a little mistake on our part, i would of honestly thought there would of been a film you remove after all the fitting is done.
spoke to decal supplier and he is sending me another passenger door decal up, what a top fella he is and a real credit to the renault turbo owners club.
I also went the pub last night and car painter was there, he is going to sort the passenger door free of charge which is really good of him and its going in monday morning.
