nice 1 fella
the engine you are referring to is the b18ft (1.7 turbo) not much has been developed for that engine but a good benefit from it is that its efi rather than carb. tbh these cars are quick on the standard t2 running around 15psi

Yeah thats the one. It has similar seats to yours but in black which i think are just a bit to big for the car lol, The reg plate also had a little caption on it that said ,The devils work. I should be up there soon ,if he still has it i will get some pics for you.

also got a full poybush set on its way to me so this will be fitted over winter i cant stress how much a polybush set improves a car especially one thats 20 years old lol, im looking into upgrading the rear shocks as well as mine are the standard ones

thanks matey
yeah he is pretty special with them, id say its already in the league of an animal now these next few additions will just push it on that bit further especially the mappable ignition which is known to see gains of 15-20bhp between 2-3k would be nice to see it hit 245-250bhp next year

booked car in with longlife stockport to get the full 2.5" system fitted on 21st jan, will be a nice chance to give the car a bit of a drive as its not moved since mid december and ideal to check the fuelling since changing 1st stage back to standard on carb.
#536

off to longlife this saturday to get the new 2.5" system made and fitted, should be interesting to see the difference with the bjr dp/elbow and new system. Also as i said before will give me chance see how its fuelling since putting the 1st stage back to standard might need a fine tune of the 2nd stage
#539
well guys am off to longlife today so will have a few pics and vid later on for you all.
went out to my car last night re connected battery and it started on the 2nd turn was a bit groggy for 1-2 mins but totally fine from there on. Left it to warm up for another 5 mins then took it for a bit of a shakedown managed to glance at the fuelling and it seems better noticed around 11.3-11.4 on full boost, i never went above 4.5 k though so will have a proper check once this system is fitted.

Certainly am tommy and as many track days as possible.
Update
Well just got back to stoke system sounds gorgeous would be even better if had standard exhaust manifold on. I had a vid but the quality is terrible. Fuelling is defo sorted now around 11.4-11.5 wot. One thing for sure is i cant get grip in any gear once boost comes in whilst its wet even in 5th
Went out for a drive to Cheadle on sunday 22 mile round trip, mostly national speed limit roads as well , all i can say is since sorting the fuelling plus the dp/elbow and new system its a whole diff car even the mrs says it feels quicker defo gained some torque thats for sure.

thanks alot mate i really appreciate the kind words , its certainly being looked after and its nice to see that most owners of these classics are really big enthusiasts which can only be good, just like the rs turbo/cosworth scene its all about keeping these legends alive and kicking ass

not much to report over the last week or so, car is back down my drive for a few weeks so i thought id get a quick couple of pics yesterday mainly so i could show people the new exhaust well what you can see of it.
really cant wait to get this megajolt fitted and mapped in march purely for the low down torque increases it offers

cover is finally coming off the car this friday, so the oil can be dropped, then new oil and filter plus new fuel filter.
going to give the car a wash and a quick polish n wax and take it for a good shakedown (hope weather is decent this weekend)
