hoping to have my car in to start the work next weekend, iv got all the bits required and might even invest in a set of full polished cupro-nickel brake pipe set as a few of my brake pipes have seen better days, i can also fit my braided brake hoses whilst im at it.
will also be fitting the new apex rear shocks and the full polybush set that i have, iv been given the contact details of a seat retrimmer not far from me who id like to re trim my cobra bucket seats in black so ill see how that goes.
cant stress how much im looking forward to getting the ball rolling finally

Yeh i have been dealing with him with a rotary and motec the last couple of weeks and he was telling me how well the 2.5 duratec gets on when he fits a unichip to them seems a real nice chap
#609
rotary wise im pretty sure hes one of the best tuners out there they have some cracking projects they have worked on he was showing me a triple rotor engine last time i was up there, it sounded nuts
hes a top fella very easy to talk to and isnt up his own arse like some tuners end up being, i think hes got a bit of the old school mould about him. oh he loves the unichip iv seen/heard he has great results on most things with them especially the 2.5 duratec could be worth a visit jay

well guys my car is finally going in tomorrow to begin the mountain of work
iv spent an hour tonight stripping a few more bits out of the car, also just removed the passenger seat and pumped the tyres up, got go get a jerry can full of v power as there aint much in the tank and always prefer some fresh in there.
got a few more bits arriving from gt turbo spares in the next couple of days, looking forward to driving the car again even though its only a 2 min drive from my house

mini update
iv been up to see my car on way back from a job earlier, the fella has started on what we thought was the better side and you know what thought did eh? well i was shocked to see how bad the passenger side was there is alot more work than we thought to be done, god knows what its going to be like on the drivers side.
but all is good and its being sorted that is the main thing, could of took the easy way out and broke it for parts etc but thats just not me.

i popped up the garage after work and my god does it look good especially as the welds have been grinded down and liquid rubber applied to a few areas to build it up, you cant even see that there has been any welding done
i took a few quick pics they aint the best though also got a couple of random exhaust pics see if you can spot the state of the floor pan drivers side its virtually all got be replaced.
good thing is im getting it all at mates rates which is going save me a small fortune.

so i went up to see my mate up at the garage to drop him some money off and see how things are going etc, to say he was a bit gutted would be an understatement as he had ran out of gas and the spare bottle he has was leant out to a mate who decided to return it back empty and not tell him nice eh.
overall though things are looking good plenty of extra bits have been done that iv not got pics of yet.

i think 99.9% of people would of done that or broke it for parts andy i just couldnt though as iv got too much into this car, one plus side is it will have a solid shell for years to come
