UPDATE

right the engine is going to be taking a different route now instead of me getting the head done straight away, im being patient and im currently negotiating a nice fully ported head with uprated springs from CGB Motorsport and to compliment this ill be adding a 285 cam and vernier iv also got my eyes on a front grill mounted intercooler which will then allow me to position the air filter in a much better place. now i know ill get slated for this over on the RTOC but im also toying with the idea of getting a tubular manifold and doing back to back tests and seeing just what is the diff if any would be interesting to know for sure.

All the above added to the 2.5" downpipe and GT Motorsport turbo elbow should get all the air/gass flow to its maximum which can only be a good thing ill prob stick the hybrid t25/t2 turbo i have on at the same time as well run at about 18psi

my new investment thought it was rude not too as id reckon my cylinder head wont be much good as its at least gone twice before plus this will go with the spec im going for

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

just watching and bidding on a t28 off a 200sx s14 now all ill have to do is change the rear housing to a .49 as the .64 will make it too much of a lag monster, with the .49 i believe ill be getting full 22psi boost at 4k

hi mate yes nocturnal are still doing the efi this is something i looked into but it costs around 2k all in to do the conversion.

just a little report guys i got the car back friday evening and boy is it a whole new beast its just sooo much better now all the fuelling is bang on and the 3 mods thats been added have defo made it more responsive and pull alot harder up the revs it defo puts a huge smile on my face not sure that the corsa vxr and civic type r owners were smiling after trying it on tho haha.
I also went to order 2 uniroyal rainsport 2 tyres for this friday and went get a price on sorting the bodywork out on my car lets just say i wont be spending anymore money engine wise for a while so its a good jb am happy with it

got the new tyres on my car and all i can say now is that its given me awesome grip in 1st and 2nd so my 0-60 times are massively improved. taking the car up to mikeanics today for a power run will be interesting to see what it gets as at the moment im running it at a safe 11.5 afr on full boost so if im not too happy with results ill get it leaned out to 12 and also get the inlet manifold ported then take it back in april and see if this makes more power

My sister's old 5 turbo

Best mod you can do. . . fit a Volvo 1700 turbo lump with a few mods

She sold it 18 months ago . . . its not treated the same anymore and dont look half the car it used to be

A 1400 5 Turbo look alike as her 1st car

And the Raider was her 1st 5 turbo

You gotta love Renault 5 Turbo's

well guys i think im sticking with the c1j engine really cba with an engine conversion especially as ill need aftermarket ecu as the standard b18ft only allows 0.9 bar boost max.

so im going treat the c1j to a fresh piston and liner set and also get the bb tuning racing cam fitted at the same time this cam is the same as a 270 which is plenty for my engine as a 285 is overkill for a t2 or t25/t2.

Good lad

Although probably a great mod, I'd much prefer sticking with the c1j rather than sticking a volvo lump in there, I'm a purist.

I still really badly want another 5

little update for you iv now taken delivery of a band new piston and liner set also received brand new front and rear strut braces so all this will be fitted sometime soon, im also toying with the idea of fitting a tubular manifold whilst everything is off. but ideally id like do back to back runs to see if any gains are made from this

well guys i got my car back last night and my god its just so much better now iv had the boost turned down to 10psi whilst im running it in, but it just drives so much more smoothly it even sounds healthier, also i can tell the 270 cam is in there as its even more eager to pull once it starts boosting.
got run it in for 2000 miles then its back to ian for either a t25 or t28 turbo and about 18-20psi obviously will all be set up by him, ian also re wired and relocated the fan wiring it now cuts in when it should and also have the manual switch wired up just in case
