Is the Hazard flasher unit separate from the indicator flasher unit?
They always used to be years ago but don't know when Audi or others started to use a combined electronic unit.

If it still is separate, then the Hazard flasher or Wiring from it may be the source of crossover between left and right.

Have you changed the hazard switch??? These should have the gubbins inside like A4's etc of same age, sounds like a relay problem

Sounds like it if everything else is looked at.

Do the indicators just stay lit and not flash like normal then???

If so its got to be the relay, wether its faulty or the alarm wiring that connects to here. Was the relay/hazard switch new or 2nd hand? Any chance it could be the same problem as the first part you replaced?

Ok, if they flash it doesnt sound like sticking relay then.

But the fact they all flash at same time still points to the hazard switch id think or the wiring of the alarm that goes to it aswell. Maybe try a Haynes or that for a wiring diagram and trace thru it. Done anything recently that might have upset wiring behind dash?

Towbar fitted?sometimes those fucking scotchlock bullshit things cause probs where they splice into the rear lights.from memory the hazard lights take priority over the main car indicators.hazards should be fed from a permanent live as oppossed to a switched for the indys due to their nature.thing with electrics is u realy need to be there with your tester etc to try different things.you could try disconnecting the hazard relay/fuse and then seeing if the indicators work independantly from it and vice versa, although the hazards should be on all the time iregardless of the ignition switch if there's a fault there as their fed from a permanent live?
