Default Rear beam bushes....???? arggghhh!!

What is the easiest way to remove the rear bushes out of the rear beam?? the big ones not the ones on the trailing arms.....

The beam is out of the car

I have heard the ones on the rear arms have to be pressed out?? anyone local in the North east who would do this??

Thanks

For removing the beam bushes i hacksawed the top piece off, hammer a old screw driver down the side and lever them out.
Its not a 5 minute job though, does take some messing about.

As for the trailing arm ones, yes they have to be pressed out.

Are these bushes as much a pain in the arse as the Vectra Trailing arm bushes?

Thanks all, the beam is it the house so I will have a good go at them today.

@J1mbo im sure they would need to be pressed out.
why are you taking the trailing arm ones out ?

I'm going to get them shotblasted and powder coated so I am guessing the bushes on the trailing arms would have to be removed first?? I am leaving them ones standard and putting poly ones in the beam.

Anyone know if I have to get them pressed out before powder coating??
