Towbar fitted?sometimes those fucking scotchlock bullshit things cause probs where they splice into the rear lights.from memory the hazard lights take priority over the main car indicators.hazards should be fed from a permanent live as oppossed to a switched for the indys due to their nature.thing with electrics is u realy need to be there with your tester etc to try different things.you could try disconnecting the hazard relay/fuse and then seeing if the indicators work independantly from it and vice versa,although the hazards should be on all the time iregardless of the ignition switch if there's a fault there as their fed from a permanent live?
