since i have purchased the car the 2 electric windows at front dont do anything at all. there isnt a control unit in the drivers door.

car is a 1.6 5 door with electric windows at front and non electric at back

any ideas guys i have a number of issues including. speedo sensor. noise from drum break. heater blowers not working. trying to get them all done today.

i have heard hitting the door below the speaker can free up the window motors

 

If you take the door card off and look at the regulator. The motor is held on with 4 small bolts. Remove them lube the motor amd refit. It should work.

I did this to the wifes 53 reg mk1.5 focus.
