paul egg i HATE you !!!
my legs hurt like fuck again
we started light, got abuse off someone,,, next thing being the tarts we are
well 4 reps of 230 on the machine you have a photo with
i was PROPER impressed at the time ( 4th was iffy though )
got up after it,,,, FUCK ME WHAT A BUZZ I GOT
then them fucking stairs again
i HATE you,,,,, cheers for the advice though, ill give it a while and see if it works,,, though im going back down to 160 and accept being called a puff by the staff there

incline chest machine thingy 100kg 3x10 reps
shoulder press ( as in push upwards thingy) 67.5 3x8 reps
then 140 pull downs 3 sets of 10
then we went for legs as paul recomended
we was going well, started with 150 as we done it before,,,,, then sid one of the personal trainers started to take the piss
we RAISED the game,,,,,,, we are MEN !!!!

i managed to LIFT a erst gearbox and not get my top dirty due to me working out at the gym
dave your note a office bod so should be fine
i dont get that many pains from the gym usually, but then i go to the gym 4 times a week,,,, AND IM ADDICTED TO TRAMADOL

1 leg squats,,,, im STILL scared of them
sunday im gonna start LOW weight, and i DO mean low weight dead lifts to help my lower back problem i hope
ive not im still getting perscribed morphine so ill be alright im sure,,, aslong as i dont mix it with the other greeny pills

maybe, but they are solid man boobs
arms are comming along how too and the shoulders are getting there
gonna work harder to rip the muscles till about jan when im gonna start repping it out

using a chest machine with 140kg on it,,,, feels like someone trying to open your rib cage,,, then the last set i lower it back VERY slow and stretch it back

as in streching between sets or as in lower the machine till im about to shit my self then push up
if the secon FUCK THAT, i just about got it downpast 45 degrees before i had to push myh thighs to help get the fucker back up

cheers, must admit we kind of guess the stretching part
ive got problems with my left shoulder that it clicks a little since i dislocatedit when i was moutain biking
what i do is swim after ive done shoulders to stretch ( yes i go a puffy gym with steam room/pool/sauna/sunbeds ect )
anything that help get it stronger is a good help
also my back,,,,,,, ITS LIKE A FUCKING IRONING BOARD UP MY T-SHIRT

over all the years of throwin heavy wieght about ginge there aint a joint in my body that dont click lol
all i can say is without seeing for my self how u train the best advice i can say is strengh will come make sure you have ur technique right for each exercise dont for fucksake let idiots ribbing u make u think you have to lift more than u can manage without causing injury ,remember its a fine balance to push urself to get gains and to push towards injury

jay its technique sort of, when i use the pull down bar behin my head it gets so far down then my shoulder and back move,i can carry on but its my shoulers/arms im more using due to the angle of my back,, its a little like arching your back on a bench
but its like that with any weight,,, i go lighter and it dont happen but theres no resistance,, its as if i cant control my body
and cause of this my shoulders are getting bigger but my back sucks
lifting weights aint a issue, im one of the few people who can bench 2 plates each side all day, every day

ah ok with the lat pull down try sitting straight pull the bar down infront of you as close to ur face as poss with the bar level with ur adams apple this will stop u arching up ,to widen the back area try single arm rows also double cable grip seated in the cable pull down machine ! i have other ideas but try these first
also try some cod liver oil not the mickey mouse ones from superdrug get the horse pill type from holland and barrat that will help with freeing joints up im hoping that its just ur body getting used to working in this way

nash 230 was the MOST for both legs
but 160 will be both legs
jay ill try that, i forgot to mention i use the cables to stretch out at the end of each session before swimming

I do about 160kg on Left leg[fucked knee] but thats quite painfull. Then do about 150kg on right leg and nothing wrong with that one. Cant do both together as cant add enough weight.
I really need to start doing more cardio as i am a right fat cunt now! Beer gut of death!

this all on the leg press yeah??? Personally think its a shite machine and so easy to cheat and get silly weight on it. Most people in the gym I go to can put 7 to 9 plates on each side and work at it. Get them to do a real squat and there fucked at 20kg per side. Understand people have health reasons stopping them doing this, as above with the week knee, but the press is such a cheat movement. Cant beat getting some proper squats on the go, getting the tops of your legs parallel to the ground and pushing with every muscle in your body to get the weight up. Feels imense and seriously promotes muscle growth. Just my 2p worth really, I wasted around 4 years in gyms messing about with gimmick machines, yes a choice few are good and cant be replaced, and gained little muscle mass. After I went to predominantly free weights and a big compound movement each session I noticed the changes very quickly.
Dont get me wrong, anything is better than nothing and not everyone is striving to gain muscle mass just to tone up a bit and get healthy which no one can take away from anyone. Just the competitive side in me used to come out and I always wanted to train as hard and effective as possible. All gone to shit now mind working away and having 3 kids but cant wait for things to calm down and to get stuck back into a proper routine.

stephen i rotate from machines to free weights,the reason for this is the machines rip and also give you that ego boost,, but free weights are a bitch to use an if you dont for a while you loose the knack, also why i only use the smiths for shoulders behind the head aswell as upper chest bench press where i stop on the neck,,, i dont trust anyone to squat me like that if they also gotta balance it
its true about the cheating, but just getting it up to flick the lever is difficult
