this all on the leg press yeah??? Personally think its a shite machine and so easy to cheat and get silly weight on it. Most people in the gym I go to can put 7 to 9 plates on each side and work at it. Get them to do a real squat and there fucked at 20kg per side. Understand people have health reasons stopping them doing this, as above with the week knee, but the press is such a cheat movement. Cant beat getting some proper squats on the go, getting the tops of your legs parallel to the ground and pushing with every muscle in your body to get the weight up. Feels imense and seriously promotes muscle growth. Just my 2p worth really, I wasted around 4 years in gyms messing about with gimmick machines, yes a choice few are good and cant be replaced, and gained little muscle mass. After I went to predominantly free weights and a big compound movement each session I noticed the changes very quickly.
Dont get me wrong, anything is better than nothing and not everyone is striving to gain muscle mass just to tone up a bit and get healthy which no one can take away from anyone.

Just the competitive side in me used to come out and I always wanted to train as hard and effective as possible. All gone to shit now mind working away and having 3 kids but cant wait for things to calm down and to get stuck back into a proper routine.
