Default Whats the trick ?

Right ive just been out to mount my rad and intercooler on my estate project both of which are standard ford jobbies, now the bloke i bought them off said you could get them in and out without taking the turbo off now after pissing about for an hour trying every which way i could think off to squeze it past the turbo without damageing the rad i gave up and took the turbo off, mounted them and bolted the turbo back on.
Now my question is is there a way to get them in & out with the turbo on ? or was the bloke talking out his arse ?

Cheers mark.

I didnt think to take the bumper off and feed it in that way
I was going to try and take the intercooler off but i deceided against that because i wouldnt of been able to get the two bolts in that are on the top of the cooler.
I very nearly had it i managed to get them nearly in but i just couldnt drop it down enough to locate the plastic pins in the slam panel another half inch id of had it lol

Cheers guys mark

It can be done but it's a real fiddle, need to roll the turbo and manifold out. I've had mine in and out so many times now but it's a cock of a job!
