2.1 zetec turbo, 250hp target, which injectors?
As per the title really.
I am in the finishing stages of my build, i am running an emerald ECU and need to source some injectors man enough for the job, what injector will
cope easily with 250-300hp but not be so big as to cause a bad idle/ general rubbish running
They will need to fit in a Fiesta RST EFI inlet.
Any advise would be great and tips on which retailers would be even better

a set of saab turbo 365cc will do that. im running 440cc atm on a kms ecu no problems wit idal at all ive seen kms running 1000cc injectors on a 2.1 with no problems. not to srue how your ecu will be tho. i expect it would be fine.

To help you choose, consider how much HP you want per cylinder. Multiply that number by 4.7. The answer should give you a figure in cc/min for each injector. For engines with higher RPM capability (8000+) please email for advice
so in your care 250 divide by 4 = 62.50 bhp per cyl
multiply by 4.7 = 293.75 cc
so you'll be looking at 330cc minimum i would say to give you some comfort

They may be just the job tbh if they work well and are flow matched.
i have a Sytec motorsport external fuel pump that appears to be plenty man enough for 3 bar, the cutout is at just under 10 bar and it runs 156 Litres/hr @ 3bar that should be enough

Just buy a s/h set of dark greens, as used on millions of cossies, the part number is (bosch) 0 280 150 803's, even having these cleaned, which is a must on any s/h set to ensure they are balanced will still be cheaper than a new set.
The formula I and emerald use is,
take the injector flow in cc/min, divide by 5, then times by the number of injectors, as it is forced induction leave a bit extra.
You could fit greys, it would fuel perfectly, idle would be perfect if everything else is right.
The formula is on the website www.emeraldm3d.com under the "How To" section.
I am on greys, or 0 280 150 403, with T34, modded head etc.
When Dave Walker set my ecu up, the CO was 0.97%, 137PPM, as confirmed on a mot 2 weeks later, dave doesn't set up to a figure emissions wise, he sets to what the engine responds to.
Mine idles sp perfect opposite wouldn't have it the engine was still running, and made me rev it, I was at the mot place with me laptop, but as it turned out worried about nothing, my engine had 200K miles on it also, the head had been done but all original bottom end.
There is a idle stabilisation feature in the ecu software, that varies the timing to keep best idle, my best mpg was 40.8 not particularly trying going between E Anglia and Scarborough, via the A17, A15 etc, taking 3 3/4 hours each way, 187 miles each way, used a shed load of oil, hence the rebuild!!
I do not and will not use closed loop, just not needed, when it's mapped right, it's right, who's mapping yours ?
Are you K3 or K6 ?

i'm using 630cc dekaIV's @3BAR and only getting to 70% duty on 23psi on my zvh, on a zetec turbo i'll get more power for same fuel being supplied as it's a better efficiency engine.
@6BAR (fuel pump has to run in excess of 6BAR+boost pressure to do this), i'll get 900cc out of them.
