Oasis wouldn't be Oasis without Liam's vocals, although he is a bit of a numpty.

Caught Noel on his acoustic tour, amazing! Nothing beats a live Oasis gig though with Liam belting the songs out!

They are probably my favourites too, Stereophonisc coming a very close second!

Listen to almost anything with guitars involved, but not too keen on the newer stuff coming out :S

Dance music - hardcore (old skool); house; trance; grime; drum & bass etc or hip hop (though not the commercial shite radio one play all day)

Cannot abide any form of guitar music, it's either depressing love songs ("come back and haunt me" - for example - WTF?), or just generally singing complete shite (what is that 'how to save a life' tune on about?) Dull as dishwater the lot of it - you won't be getting laid if you're driving around with that on.

I don't have to drive round like Stan Collymore to get laid, and im not sad enough to play music for the community to hear let alone women, although Guitar Music may be dull, I got fed up with bleepy shit music after I finished playing tetris at the age of 12. Guitar Music is the only alternative once you discount classical

Also love alot of the old delta blues men, John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' hopkins, Robert Johnson, Son House, Blind Lemon Jefferson etc.. but I wouldnt expect anyone hear to of heard of them, even though they have inspired and influenced just about every guitar based band thats ever made a tune
You the man!!!

Blind Lemon - used to play "No Rain" in my first ever band, awesome tune!!

The Who - the original line up have to be among some of the most talented musicians ever imo! Keith Moon = God, John Entwistle = Holy sh*t!

I disagree with the previous comment about guitar music being dull, especially when you hear stuff by Hendrix etc. I find most dance music etc really cheesy etc, and feel that I've grown out of it, but that's just my personal opinion.

I don't like stuff by bands like Radiohead etc, and find that to be dull.

How To Save A Life is by The Fray, who I would say are a more of a piano based group rather than guitar, but it's still a catchy tune. The fact that you can remember the name of the tune proves that....

It's hard to write or create a "dull" dance/trance tune, because that just defeats the purpose of that style of music, but if you like it, then I can't argue with that. It's all about personal preference.

When I was younger I thought my parents were nuts listening to the Stones, U2 etc. I thought it was pants because I was really into the dancy stuff, but as I get older, I seem to appreciate what they were into a whole lot more.

Also, bare in mind, all the albums that get released called "the best driving songs ever...blah blah" are all filled with killer guitar based songs!

And guitarists definitely get the ladies, every time, believe me!

LOL I know what you're saying about most dance music sounding cheesy these days, but this is because most peoples' exposure to it is through Radio one & Co, who only play the commercial side of it (shite like Cascada) there's still good stuff out there - it's just that it has returned home to the underground.

BTW, I only know the words to that God-damn crap 'how to save a life' tune 'cos the fucking radio won't stop playing it!

Cannot abide any form of guitar music, it's either depressing love songs ("come back and haunt me" - for example - WTF?), or just generally singing complete shite (what is that 'how to save a life' tune on about?)
