had an early start this morning and im very happy the way it went
id like to say a big thanks to saphcos mike for all his help and the couple of parts he gave me:
engine going in:










also found time to renew the tca bushes which were a bit of a headache
and replace the powerflex strut top bushes which are utter shit with standard for ones.
as you can see we aslo got the strut brace fitted.
cant help but post this pic of mike fingering the crossmember(sorry mate)

todays work:
got the gearstick and centre consol back in along with a new gaitor and window switch.


interior lights back in:

re-zinc'd door latches an screw:


bonnet catch back in:

and some randoms:

just a small update:
made up a couple of hoses for the clutch and breather.



trial fitted the heat shield to check it didn't foul the breather hoses and it did so had to drop it a little.

the heat shield will get re-covered and the brackets zinc'd,im waiting on more hoses and fitting to come.
also put the down pipe on to check were I wanted the lambda sensor boss welded in.
made up a couple of hoses for the clutch and breather.

done couple of jobs today,i made up the return hose for the breather:

as you can see I missed abit while painting it
also had a lambda sensor boss welded in:

also had to extend the fuel pressure regulator bracket,still need a little work work before its finished:

spent most of the day working on the car.i bought some spal fans and wiring loom recently.

wasn't happy as the paint was coming off so I re-done it.



forgot to take pictures of them finished
I dug out the intercooler and fitted it along with the rad and turbo cooler.


fitted up the hoses for the clutch.



had some parts delivered this week.




waiting for a water cooled power steering tank from pro alloy and still waiting(7 weeks now) for my tanks form spec r
