couple of pics off the weekend.
insurance starts on Tuesday and im looking at having mot done on Friday
ive waited nearly six years to get to this point so though id give it an oil change, found fuel in the oil due to over fueling
sooner its mapped the better.
thought id give it a hoover out and another coat of wax.

yes mate, tracking booked at ats for 8.30 and mot for 1.15.
I'm nervous as he'll I've even been out and bought a fire extinguisher lol.
ooh and to top it off its gonna piss down most of the day,so a massive cleaning session will follow.
got some "j" hooks coming tomorrow from reyland and the alternator needs to got back to the shop as it's stopped charging so still a couple of jobs to do before Karl norris get his hands on it next month.

as above mot was Friday and it passed with only the headlights and emmisions needing adjusted
tracking being done.

mot station.

spending a couple of hours with the threw up a couple of issues, fans don't cut in till around 105 degrees which is way to late for my liking,so a new standard switch was fitted today

also went to petrol station on the way home and it woulnt restart, had to wait about 25 minutes till it would fire again
ive not had a chance to look at this yet but im sure karl Norris will take a look next month.
also notice when removing the alternator that the lower rad hose is touching the drop bracket so that has been modified slightly.

ground back and repainted.

Karl doesn't have a rolling road he just makes and educated guess lol.
it had 352 at the last rolling road it was on as you know, different intercooler and more modern injectors I'd be happy with 360.
with have to book in with msd or similar to have a power run done.

I'll be staying over the weekend in a hotel and don't really want to leave the car in the carpark overnight, it won't be insured if it goes missing.
Just need the bells re-anodised now

a couple of pics of today, had the car down to rs classic cars to have an agreed valuation done, great bunch of lads and very friendly.

looks like the hot starting issue I have is the coolant temperature sensor, ecu monitor readings were all over the place, ranging from normal to -12 to "brrrr" lol.
I had to nurse it home and it cut out end of my street(which was lucky).
