no bother at all mate, nowt like a bit of north/south slanging match.
small update, ive been having problems with the electrics on the car,the reverse lights where coming on as soon as ignition was switched on,and all the rear lights where flashing when the indicators where switched on,the front lights weren't playing ball either, mike came round and pulled me out of the shit again, had it sussed in minutes,im not going to tell you what was wrong with the rear lights
I bought brand new front lights years ago and when they where switch on the n/s worked fine but the o/s one was wired up wrong inside the light unit,so the harness from the old light was swapped over and now alls well, thanks for your help today mate.
mike also turned up with some QC stickers for the finishing touch

painted up the jack cover but im not keen, anyone got one for sale?

car very nearly ready for the road, got to pick the dash up on Friday, fit the rear lower spoiler and install the gauges.

Cracking build mate, just read from start to finish.
A nice reference point for anyone trying to do it right.
Can't wait to read your impressions after getting the wheels turning.
Cheers

Yes mate, the plug on the back lights was upside down
Every other plug in the car can fit only one way apart from the rear lights.
Also the brake light switch needed adjusted as it was keeping the brake lights on all the time.

It is mate I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, just need the dash back, adjust the coilovers on the front and fit the gauges, got a bit wiring to do at the weekend and a little work on the centre consol and I'm about done.
Thing is glenn the way the wires we're bent i could have sworn it was right but it wasn't lol.

Who did you get your centre push bearing off also do you know if it's capable of running heavy clutches. I mocked my box up today with my old block in place and the external slave. The thing is so close to the floor it barely fits. So centre push it is

I bought it off mk motorsport years ago,I think people have had trouble in the past with these and heavy covers but I think the bearings were to blame,i know Martin@reyland has had no issues with his.
I'm just using a standard cover for now,but I'll not hesitate to put a heavy cover on if need be.
Those cylinders do sit close to the floor you can mod the tunnel for more room if your happy to hammer the floor, which i wasn't.

Mark I didn't say people had issues with yours,it's with centre push in general, I remember a thread saying he had replaced the bearing on three occasions then changed to external slave because of the problems he was having, nothing at all to do with you or anything you sold.
As far as I'm aware the one i bought off you is working fine, but I've only been able to drive the car a couple of metres.

couple of jobs done today, got the launch control and anti-lag switches wired in:

the rubber around the hand brake was torn so made up some new ones while the consol was in bits.

seat rail covers fitted:

also got round to adjusting the coilovers, would prefer to have it a little lower on the front but the spring would be too loose.

still waiting on the dash, hopefully be done by next weekend.
