He means it's an old Datsun with some gay Jap stickers on it.
I think it's meant as a compliment.
Personally I think you should go with the duck tail, if for no other reason than no other cunt has done it.

Cant be stickers as it hasnt got any.
And its newer than most Cossies.
And its a Toyota.
But the ducktail is old skool which is sort of what I thought he liked, hence being confused.

Spent a lot of today out buying bits and bobs and modifying the manifold to fit the turbo.
And now it does.

Think I might have to modify the bonnet as the turbo is so big.
As a size comparison, the dog is about as big as a Labrador, much bigger than a Staffie.

a GT35 1.06 on a cossie is too much lack of response for me.

Thats a poor basis for comments when you consider the original engines are on full boost from about 1000rpm and have peak power at 3000rpm.
Even the standard RB26 rev limit is 8250rpm.
Ive measured the turbos wheels, know the housings, driven loads of big single GTRs of various sizes, i know roughly how this will behave, and it will be fine for me.
Gonna have to get a "Powered by SCANIA" badge on the back, or similar. I wont even be lying then! I was gonna put a diesel badge on the back, but thatd be lying, this isnt!

Mate, as stated, you have NO idea what turbo this is, or what engine this is off.
And their engines start at 9 litre, so why you keep on about 16litre engines is beyond me.
And they often run multiple, or compound charging, so how do you know its the only turbo the engine used![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Please mate, you have no idea what you are talking about, when I know exactly what this turbo is capable of, ive dismantled it and measured it, though it was pretty obvious to me just from the exterior, and have plenty of RB26 big single turbo experience. So please, stop going on like you know what you on about.
There are "bigger" turbos fitted to Cossie engines on this forum...

Yeah I reckon so too.
Im just trying to decide what to do about the exhaust.
I fancy taking it to Brunters and do trackdays too, but that means getting a quiet exhaust made, and that costs money, as currently the car just has a straight 3in pipe and no boxes, and also means i cant have a screamer pipe either.
Ideally needs to be 3.5in or 4in system too considering even on stock internals it looks like its gonna be comin on for 600 horsies, so 3in wont cut it, esp without a seperate screamer

Stav how does the manifold going to stand up having that sized turbo on it i guess you'll have some sort of brace/ damper?
Are you going to have any issues with your bonnet as it looks like it sits pretty high?
Gonna look and sounds awesome

Not entirely sure how the brace will attach to the turbo though as rather than the gay bolt on housings like Garretts have, Holsets have fancy v-band 360degree rotatable compressor and exhaust housings, so no actual bolt holes to strap a brace to.
Ill think of something!
Pretty sure I will have bonnet issues, but thats a 5sec job with an angle grinder for me, no prob there. Dont think will be much higher than bonnet at all tho, which is a shame as if the whole thing poked through itd be badass.
The Irish TDP Time Attack R32GTR has similar issues with a similar turbo...

I got something else cool ill post up for it now, but ive not taken a pic yet, ill do that in a bit...
