looks like a mountune roller, but as steve has said, could be the ST cosworth plenum, with the remove plenum cover plate?

Cheers dude - been a mission to get it all together lol.

All the quip will be anodized black stuff - the blue/red was just for mockup.

How have you got on with your injectors dan? I'm on siemens 650's from the states and when i actually greased the O-rings and seated them properly i found they were 5.7mm shorter than a standard pico! Had to machine about 4mm off the fuel rail mount on the Titans!

I'll e-mail you some more pics when its done matey
that odd, i think mine are siemans 650cc's too, but i had to get some small spacers made to sit the fuel rail further out, about 4mm iirc

plenum looks slightyl diff tot he focus WRC inlet steve, but could be a version of it lol

hopefully ill have my olenum back soon, and then get the manifold flanges sorted on the exhaust side, and then spend lots of money

we thought mountune roller too, but that means that the inlet would be facing the other way

4 mate

8 is a pain in the ass! more wiring, extra fuel rail, diff inlet, and if a plug comes off one, you melt the engine

these injectors are good for over 500bhp so i should be ok

I'm led to believe mine is a Cosworth Focus WRC casting - well, it came in a Cosworth box lol

It came with a completely blank face to it bar 2 holes, 1 at either side - i had to make up some adaptor plates to fit the Titans onto it.

Where'd you get your injectors from Dan?

Ok - well - feel guilty for doing this on your thread mate - but hey

Cosworth Focus WRC 'Plenum' (well, just rear chamber bit really)

Machined to accept Aeromotive 10 Micron fuel filter with half moon caps made up to retain.

Face machined ready for adaptor plate mounting

Adaptor plates

Bracket made up to mount Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Reg and Nitrous solenoid

See what the channel is for now?

Bit of lightening work...

End result (so far)

Happy now fudge features?

The adaptor plate in the pic above has a tapered hole from 47mm to 45mm - that is designed to bolt onto the RB picking up on the 4 trumpet mount bolt holes with the head of the M5 socket screw recessed sub flush.

The plate and RB can then be bolted onto the plenum face with the holes i had machined into it.

The plenum has a flared port internally as part of the casting

ah i see.

what are you using for gaskets?

on the rb there is not much metal, and you have the small by-pass holes too.

i was gonna use tiger seal

I was going to take the bleed screws out and then run lines from them to a nitrous distribution block with a big ass Idle Speed Valve in - direct port anti lag baby yeah

I was going to try Loctite blacktite first - see how that holds up - if not then i might have a look at getting a thin fibre gasket or something

the idle screws are like M4 size, so they will be piss for ALS bypass.

im using the std zetec injector plate, gonna pipe them to the ALS valve(s)

they are about 10mm dia each, and there are 4 so again, direct port ALS and they should be plenty big enough

Yeah - but remember i'm FWD still

Crazy ALS for me will be pointless - i just a few subtle pops to clear the vacuum on gearchanges and launches

I personally thought that the ID of those bleed holes would have been sufficient to support 1 cylinder...

I've just got a slim DCOE inlet manifold to join the RBs to the head - guess i could drill and tap that if i needed to... you know, for when you *need* to have savage anti lag when you're reverse parking at the pub

didnt you go to ford fair? it WAS on the road...

on the back of a trailer

i guess it will work to a degree, but will be pretty mild lol

i have the long DCOE inlet, would that help make a bit more torque, or doesnt it work like that on turbo motors?

Can't see it being here nor there to be honest mate - at the end of the day there's a rather sizeable turbo shoving air through it at 2 bar. I think this is the first time you'll be honestly told "size doesn't matter"

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTTT!!!!!!

update time at long last!!

yesterday, i took delivery of my spanking swedish style inlet plenum, its fucking gorgeous!

the work that has gone into it is unreal - all i gave the chap were some overall dimentions of the space i had, and that the fornt part needs to be angled down towards the I/C as there aint much space.

this is the result - thanks mark, its ace!

rear of base plate - note the machining

inside of base plate - has a raised edge to locate the plenum cover

base plate mounted on the rollers

with trumpets

plenum cover

can see the angled part and inside

together with base

fitted

quality welding!!

so, what do you all reckon?

roll on the next stage

I reckon you have nailed that one mate....

I reckon you should get it sand blasted though to give it that factory standard look with a dusting of silver paint... to match the rest.

Top top work from the fabricator there, seriously trick machining etc
