A supposed friend who I have helped rise through the ranks o a company has recently spread lies and bullshit about me in the company to new and nearly new people to the point where one person working closely with me resigned for no reason, when I met her a few days later she told me what this guy had said an has since given me a statement

This guy I promoted thru the ranks and is now on 60k a year and in an audi purely on my recommendation an has enjoyed many overseas trips

He is good at what he does but was deffo lifted by me and our supposed friendship

I'm looking for a sneaky yet effective way of fucking him over without him knowing or with him knowing and not being able to prove it

Any ideas?

Plus he threatened me with physical violence that morning an was in a ferocious rage because he got caught out fucking up on his job and I just stood there looking at him calm as fuck with a bemused look on my face and didn't react at all, I think he carried this rage around with him that day and in the afternoon spewed some hateful lies which is why the new girl I hired resigned

Try and get a statement from the girl that resigned saying exactly what he said and when..? Then confront him or H.R department etc and ask him to explain it.

I was second in command in the company for 5 years up until last sept where I took on a self employed role selling having set up my own company so I fall outside the realm of two employees to him still an employee and me a contractor of sorts so this is where the HR thing gets messy

He said to the girl that I was the most hated person in the company, that I was fired last sept instead of me leaving to set up my own company supplying them with sales to fullfill, that I fucked up a telesales dept and made everyone leave an to watch my back with him that he will do you over and not pay you for your work

She has since agreed to rejoin me and met with the director of the company I was second in command with previously and she has provided a full statement to me

We met Friday with the director and a HR person and he sat there denying everything and looking totally cocky and smirking an writing everything I said down on a notepad
I called the meeting to a halt and have asked for a full investigation to take place but with me being self employed to them the HR stuff might not be so straight forward

The director totally believes our side of the story and has had several runs in with this guy over his work of late

Gathering evidence statements is the only way to go.

Did someone witness his aggressive outbursts? if so more people to back your cause.

He could probably at least get a warning for spreading shit, the aggressive outburst might be enough to get another one.

The one person in the same room as him and the girl workin for me was brand new in to cover maternity leave and is suddenly deaf an cant hear properly

It's a situation of he said she said but the stuff the girl put on her statement is so descriptive with specific info she couldn't have made it up or be telling porkies

I sent him an email asking was it true adding the HR person and the director

If he was innocent surely like u or I would have been on the phone going " Jesus what the fuck is going on, I've just seen your email and I swear to go I never said anything like that "

Instead what he did was ring the girl he said it to and that had resigned and threatened her down the phone and said " we never had that conversation and lose my number"

I gave him until the following Friday at 5pm to come clean and apologise and put everyone right and I gave my word that that would have been the end of it, instead he ignored my emails and replied to the HR person and director denying it and didn't copy me on the email reply

Sounds like an innocent man eh??????

Hence trying to sort it "legally" is not going to work and the need for a "baldrick cunning type plan"

What I do know is since I left my previous position the sales have dropped from 100 a mth to 40 and I'm producing 25 of that 40 on my own and they have 6 other salespeople doing the balance so his position has actually been called into question because he now has 40% of what he had to do previously and his 60k salary is now way out o whack

Redundancy is facing him I'm certain and the boss who I really get on with and we see eye to eye on everything has assured me it won't be long before redundancy gets rid of him

I've withdrawn my services and sales until its sorted and this will have a huge impact financially to them with me accounting for 50% of their turnover an profits

Personally I think you've done the best thing here this will hit the business hard and they'll soon realise how much they need you and not him he'll be gone and you'll be back on board and sat back laughing. Give it a month or two for the cunt to be out if work and things to get tight then go see his mrs and tell all job jobbed.
