Im planing on changing the engine in my P100 from a 1.8td to a 2.9 24 valve V6 granada.
Are the engines in a automatic granadas different to the manual engines?
Whats the best gearbox to use?
Will I have to drill a new hole for the gear lever?
What Bhp is a standard engine puting out?
What do people do for fuel pumps?

good strong engine's these go for the boa as its handyer to wire.
i always use a v6 type9 (they have the longer shaft)
oem bhp 195/205
cosworth fuel pump will do
they go really well with bob cams vectra v6 injectors and a 50mm exhaust and 3 good box's and if the p100 is the same set up the stick go's to the same place.check out fordpower loads off good info there mate

as long as you can source a clutch and flywheel and flywheel bolts (usually from a donor sierra xr4x4 2.9) then you are cookiing with gas

everything else is a virtual bolt in and job done job

Don't forget crank spigot bearing from a manual 2.9 pushrod V6

4.6:1 diff is a bit on the low side unless you like pouring petrol into the tank!

Ł250 +for an engine. One with ecu and loom more up to Ł500 if its got a manual flywheel.

is a 3.75 the right crown wheel and pinion for the job? Im on 16" wheels.
