I went to Thailand last xmas and got a bolt stuck in my shin when I hired a bike out there, I drifted into some massive pot hole and got my leg wedged against a barrier that had the rusty bolt sticking out. Blood poured out for an hour or so but looked ok after that but as I was back packing about I thought it would have been ok if I kept it clean so I was in & out of the sea etc and then it started going black with puss leaking out etc - by the time I flew home a week later my leg from the knee down was massively swollen. Billycabrio picked us up from the airport & took me straight to A&E after I had gone to the chemist to ask for some anti-inflamation tablets - they said get to the hospital ASAP, I did and the hospital said I was really lucky as I could have died on the plane as the blood had clottted etc.

I had to have all the dead tissue cut out and a skin graft - couple of pics

Not particularly clear as this happened over 10years ago and has faded. This is a scar from when I had cancer and had to have a tumor removed from my lymph nodes on my spine. This was a full on stomach and bowel moved out the way and then put back job.

I was back training in the gym 6 weeks afterwards and trying to put all the weight back on I lost, which is why the scar is 10mm thick instead of a nice small line

It's about 13" in length; you can see the top and my finger is at the other end. You can see they went aroud my belly button

That's a piece of rubber they use to cover your privates. Just like a rubber plate they put on top of your pants. By the way Dojj, no glue was used at all on my hip replacement. That's the amateurs way. Neither was any cement used. That would have cracked and caused me dislocation and endless problems. From memory, they used my old hip head to mince and graft bone to shape it to the socket. The downside is the recovery is much, much harder and longer. A part from the metal, it's all natural and a lot of my own bone was used. It's also titanium which means it lasts longer. As for the camber Tony, I did want some negative, so I walked like I had shat myself, but was advised against it.

Scariest one was having a 3" incision at the base of my spine - the concept of someone fucking up and confining me to a wheelchair wasnt pleasant

got a pic somewhere nothing much but i was with a mate ages back at this girls house and her x came round they argued and he hit her i heard what happened from the back garden so went out to see him. anyways i hit him before he had chance to say anything his teeth went through his lips and split my hand open. my hand ended up swelling really bad and the hospital kept me in 3days on drips etc. not clever

I thought that buy going in the sea it would have kept the wound clean but the doctors said thats the worst thing I could have done! Its all Ok now, just a nice pink scar on my shin but when it was healing up it stank of old bin bags - it was really disgusting sitting at home with a load of puss and blood oozing out of the badages where they took the skin from.

My blood was poisoned & I was taking 28 tablets a day & when I was in hospital I was being pumped with 2 massive syringes full of stuff every 4 hours through a drip.

Cant praise the NHS enough though, they get a lot of stick but they were brilliant.

nothing as bad as some! 3 times broken me nose, smashed my right knee to pieces playing rugby, circumscion (spelling), hernia op no keyhole for me proper letterbox but as no sick pay at work as a contractor op on friday back at work monday walking like i shit me self!! lol

 

I had a trumor on the carotid artery in my neck removed. Below are the pics of it being removed and the actual tumor so don't look if too squeemish


































The surgeon thought I was a nutter when I replied "yes" to his "do you want pictures" lol I have a scar from just below my ear down the side of my neck 4-5". I also have some gene thing that means I scar quite badly and it lumps up like a line of pink weld.

The a couple of years later I was involved in a car crash. My knee hit the seat infron and pushed my leg back so hard that it snapped the back of my hip socket off and rotated it 180 degrees. I now have a plate and screws in there and a nice 12" scar for the pleasure. No pics of that one on the computer here at work though, sorry.

 

well, one morning about 7 years ago i was riding my honda 125 nsr to school with a friend on the back, a car drove out of a lane and we hit it at an unknown speed. (the witnesses had guessed everything from 15 km/h to 50 km/h.

ended up with right leg broken 2 places, dislocated sholder and broken collar-bone(?) (clavicula it the latin word), completely smashed milt that was removed, liver was stiches together along with the "middle-floor", twisted right foot really bad, was double the size as the left one. also the big-toe didn't work for a year and a half.collapsed one lung and smashed the other one, drained 2litres of blood from them. the doctors didn't even count the broken ribs...

1.5l of blood was drained right after the accident, but a couple of weeks later i could hardly breathe, took a cat-scan, and with a local sedative(?) a further 0.5l of blood was drained with a shot taken in from my back. funny feeling that, vacuum in the lungs, had to keep breathing in, lol

coma in 4 days, hospital in 3 weeks, wheelchair 5 weeks and crutches 9 weeks i think. and fysiotherapy for 4 months.

only thing i remember was goiing to bed the night before, can't remember anything from the day the crash happended.

(sorry for all the made-up-words, don't really know all the english medical-terms )

 

see, you lot have had recent damage, i'm of the age where having a camera meant that it was only allowed out of the house at weddings

i missed a few out:

cut open my right index finger when i fell off a bike aged 16, bled a lot and had a few stiches
had the tips of 3 fingers on my right hand planed off by my dad when i was 17, then he said "put them under a tap, i'm off to the pub" and i had to end up driving myself to the shopital where i had everything bandaged up
broke my left index finger plaing tennis (doubles, we both went for the ball, his racket hit my hand as i was going for a double backhand and the bone came out)
cut myself shaving the other day and bled like halal meat
stubbed my toe today as well

but fuck me is that fella with the belly scar hairy

i had a vein sewn up, few deep stiches on my right arm when i swung a punch at someone and he moved,,, and i went straight though a leaded window then pulled back,,, the glass on lead acted as a anchor and torn the vein,,, was pissed at the time,, got bared from the pub and the cab driver took me to hospital rather than home to get some sleep and go in the morning that i sugested,,,,,i took hes card and when i left A&E i picked up the public phone with my right arm ( still pissed btw) and ripped the stiches and had to get them redone again and now i got a fold in the skin on my hand,,,, the nurse wasnt impressed when i went back to her and said " sorry love think you should missed a stitch,, you aint ever gonna get a job at mike baldwins factory"

also broke my collar bone,, fuck me that hurts !!!, cant laugh it off due to the pain,,,, and crying hurts even fucking more AND i had to walk my BMX out of the forest to meet the ambulance, then i dislocated it 6 months later and then again,,, and again all falling over on bikes and now my shoulder is higher one side than the other,, i look like a freek american rapper posing for the camera

broke the knuckles off my right hand,,, punched a kid in school to shut him up,,, but hit him twice and the second time he lowered hes head like a hedgehog and the second blow on the top of hes head chipped off my kuckles,,,, i carried on at school in pain hiding it so nobody knew i hurt my self

broke the bone in the back of my hand smacking a doorman who tried to throw me down the stairs,,, he went with me then hes mates gave me a kicking on the floor for a bit, i got up and he was adjusting hes clip on tie with a cockey smirk so i swung at him with all my weight, he went down for a bit too,,,,, he was still on the floor after hes mates gave me ANOTHER kicking and punching on the floor for a bit and i got pushed out onto the street

broke my nose 3 times, first time some kids tried nicking my bike, i held on to it laying on the floor whilst the rushed me, one of em was kneeing me in the face,, for what felt like half a hour,, stopped hurting after the first few knees but BOY was my face fucked, eyes where flush with my face and nose was wonky

second time a guy i used to know tried it on with my missus and i had a fight with him a few years before,,, then i see him in a pub with a few mates and he gets one of em to start chatting nikki up KNOWING i will bite after a while,, turns out hes "mate" is a boxer,,, i swear i got 2 punches in and he punched the living fuck out of me GOOD NEWS,,,,,, HE SORTED THE KINK IN MY NOSE !!!! by breaking it again pmsl

then again someone nutted me in a row sly manchester fashion but was a proper nice go,,,, it was one shot then 2 of my mates kicked the fuck out of him,, whilst i had a 15 min nose bleed that wouldnt stop

oh and also torn a ligament when a mate of mine pushed me out of a tree,,,, still dont know why i done it to this day,, i shook the branch for a joke,,,,,, he PUSHED ME out of a conker tree 30ft from the floor and i landed on my feet,,,though sideways falling pmsl

oh and this is a minor incident but the most dangerous,,, whilst larking about with mate i was pushed backwards,,,,, into the window of a pub and i fell through the window that didnt shatter but broken,,, i was looking up at a bit of glass aiming down on me as i pushed up on the broken paine with my forearms and got the fuck out of the way as the top part of the window came crashing down, still got the scars on my fore arms from the glass when i pushed up but if i didnt get up quick the top of the window would have come down on me like a french guilotine !!!

notice that most of these all taken place under the influence of stella !!!, either inside a pub,comming home from a pub and the last one was coming home from a club,,,,and i was pushed/fell into a pub !!!

I've had 2 hernias, appendix, 2 operations and loads of treatments on my hearing, adenoids, and I broke my wrist when someone pushed me over at iceskating some time ago now. Oh, and I broke my finger when someone whacked a cricket ball at it. Think that's about it.
