I thought that buy going in the sea it would have kept the wound clean but the doctors said thats the worst thing I could have done! Its all Ok now, just a nice pink scar on my shin but when it was healing up it stank of old bin bags - it was really disgusting sitting at home with a load of puss and blood oozing out of the badages where they took the skin from.
My blood was poisoned & I was taking 28 tablets a day & when I was in hospital I was being pumped with 2 massive syringes full of stuff every 4 hours through a drip.
Cant praise the NHS enough though, they get a lot of stick but they were brilliant.
