drove an E46 M3
My mate bought down his 53 plate M3. it would have been rude not to have a go.
I know its a bit obviouse that a car at that price with that technology would be a bit of kit but I was so impressed with it. got the hang of the paddle shift really well, just didnt know if to keep my foot planted when changing up so I backed off slightly to be safe, but gear change was so quick and smooth. the only thing I didnt like with it was driving it in auto and going through town at a slow constant speed as it changes down for you but blips the throttle so when it changes down the revs are still up and it then changes up again. prob just do with getting used to but what a car and bloody fast.
but fook the 500quid a month he has got it on..

I've wanted one for ages. My mate took me out in his and it lived up to what i expected, but screw the payments on one

Not often, the pump is far more likly to go than the box itself - but as these cars are becoming so cheap people think they can afford to run one on a budget, but you might get a nasty surprise...
For example you can't rebuild the diff... its an exchange item only.
