For some reason I woke up at 3:35 and have been up since, not being able to sleep

Even incredibly boring programmes like the OC haven't sent me back to laa laa land and now looks like I am up for the duration

Thrush mate, have you tried reading? When you wake up and can't get back to sleep it's normally because your mind wakes up, racing around thinking about things you need to do etc.

If you pick a book up straight away and read for 10 minutes, you're using the same part of your brain that you dream with so you should be able to nod back off easier!

Im the oposite, cant get up in the mornings, sleep solid all the way to the alarm, then snooze the thing about 3 times

dont go sleep till about 5:30am ish so.... and cant do nothing about it unless i fill up on night nurse and weed

Fil - thats usually me. Alarm goes off at 6am, I should be up by 6:20, feed cat at 6:30, get ready for work and be out the door by 7 - but most times it's smash the shit out of the snooze button (I mean, FFS who invented them - asking for trouble there ) and wake up at 5 to seven

But I slept a fair bit of Thursday day and eve, so I guess I woke up cos I had 100% sleep quota
