Default farndon crank

was thinking of upgrading to farndon steel crank and rods
how good are these components and what stroke would be advised for the crank 2.0 2.1 etc i want the car to be reliable but very fast
any ideas ppl thanx

its a 4wd cosworth
200 block
long studded
i have cosworth forged pistons but may change them to j.e
ported head
bd14s may change to 16 inlet if i go steel bottom end
gt 35 external wastegate
hopefully tubular manifold
8injectors wrc (waiting on price for carbon inlet) greys
etc etc

depends on who gets them i was quotted 900 quid today but without fuel rail and thats 8 siamese injectors but tempted to stay alloy inlet anyway cut the costs a bit

dont know hes the bloke is going to get pictures to me he said i will need either a 500 throtlle bodie or bigger, though he did say that its a lot bigger than standard m8
anyway wheres ur cossie u got it back yet you still in cov m8

nor me moved out of the crap hole
his name is ian howells at racetek ive alwys dealt with him since ive owned my cossy very trusting and reliable always willing to give advice too
i think he has a lot of dealings with montune?

A standard 2wd throttle body will achieve well in excess of 600bhp, so you don't need to go to the expense of an RS500 item, and there are far cheaper inlet manifolds available . Lee got his 600bhp using just four 1000cc injectors as well... . Check my website for details....

also, I beleive Steve Scott was in the process of getting carbon inlets made up. no doubt, he'll be knocking them out cheaper than anyone else might be worth giving him a call if your interested......if you can ever get hold of him
