Default Help Required - YB not start due to injectors not firing

Hi all,

Wondered if any has experienced an issue with injectors not firing?

Ill start from the beginning - my engine is freshly built all sensors all new apart from the 3 bar map sensor, ISCV and pf09 TPS

Also installed is a brand new CW Looms engine loom with integrated wasted spark.

All relays are powered - pump is priming and pumping while cranking. Also have spark but I removed the plugs and the bores are as dry as a bone.

We decided to put a feed directly over each injector for a few seconds - turned the key and it instantly came to life. So must be sparking and firing the correct side of the coil.

Ive put a meter across the phase and cps sensor with the following results:

CPS

657 ohms off trigger
612 ohms on trigger

Phase

714 ohms off trigger
670 odd ohms on trigger

Ive pinged all the earths and they are all good. Added new earth straps for piece of mind. Battery to chassis and battery to engine.

I don't have a set of NOIDs but I intend to order some tomorrow, but im 99.9% they are not getting the pulse from ECU.

Spec:

4x4 engine loom - including wasted spark NEW
L8 ECU Pectel board & Wasted spark driver
PF09 USED
ISCV USED
3 bar Map USED
New phase
New ACT
New ECT
New Temp
New CPS
New twin air injectors

Any advise would be greatly received.

Thanks,

Chris

You don't have power to the injectors from what you have said?

They are negatively switched, thus should have a permanent live!

Okay well they may have a permanent live but I didn't check keyed off. But yes I have 12v on one of the pins on all four.

They should have power on ignition, if it runs by putting a live to them as you have, then surely this is the problem?

It will only run for a few seconds by powering each of the injectors directly from the battery for a few seconds and them crank.

I'm getting no negative pulses to the injectors from the ecu.

Hi,

Have you got the phase sensor plugs and knock sensor plugs wrong way about?, also is the phase sensor plug inside dizzy the right way about, as that will cause issues with injectors

Cheers

Hi. They come labeled on the new loom. I could always ping them back the relevant pin on the ecu to check.
