RS Turbo ECU boost lock
Hey guys!
i fitted in my RST :
-Stage 3 Turbocharger from TurboTechnics
-Front Mounted Intercooler
- ARP Head Bolts
- GFB Boost Controller with MAC Valve
What should i do next in question of the fuel/ecu?
At the moment i dont want a conversion to efi.. sometimes later.
I heard that a Boost lock is in the ECU, is that right?
My Plan is to take the cold start injetor with a pressure switch, that it injects at boost.

10psi boost cut in the silver ignition ECU, Chip needs to be changed, it's soldered into the board.
Not sure where you can get one from these days as Ahmed Bayjoo died a few years ago.
I had his chips in the 90s.

Plus it controls the wastegate and reduces boost.
According to the wiring diagram both Jetronic and ESC-II units are standalone items. There's just one signal connection from the ESC to the Jetronic, probably a signal for the injection as soon as the engine starts cranking.
Probably you could exchange the ESC-II with a modern mappable ignition/injection system that works without a CPS. Some might also be able to control a fifth injector. Using a the cold start valve instead is not a good idea.
