1) Escort cossie fuel pump cannot deliver enough fuel even for 0.8bar

2) Alcon 6 paddle clutch slipping at 0.8bar


The 1st prob may possibly be something else as Ive spoke to Ollie and he says the one I have on should be fine to deliver the amount of fuel I need, so prob may lie elsewhere.

The 2nd one, he has recommended I use an AP cover plate on the Alcon clutch and that should sort that.

Anyway, a slipping clutch at 0.8bar is all good news as it was fine on the old engine at 1.2bar!

Should have it back in a few days anyhow to run it in, then I will have to have a look at the clutch issue!

You got another cossie stu - What happened to the white one?

 

How much power you got going to the pump. I had that problem when I got my one chipped ( she was running lean well eg there was nothing going back to the tank over 3k revs that was with a group A pump)had to put a new power line in . i think it should be 10 to 12 volts at the pump.
