Default saph cos 2wd exhaust

bought a 2wd saph cos in my late twentys with a full s/steel mongoose on it thought it was great for yrs now in my just turned fifty the noise gets on my f...ing tits don't now if I fancy going back to std thinking about cutting up the mongoose welding in new mufflers / silencers or any advise on these that's been tried tested or complete systems would be great im running a stg 1 chip not bothered about slight drop in power I want it reasonably quiet by trade im a mechanic so nothings a prob any advise would be great just done a hydrolic clutch conversion should of done it yrs ago thanke

There are stainless steel aftermarket exhaust that are basically copies of the original Ford exhaust, they should make it quieter as they add pipework and one extra silencer. They should be 3'' like the ''normal'' aftermarket exhausts so you should not see a drop in power.
