Big up DAN P..........Castle Combe hero and top bloke!
Posting up on behalf of Phil2400 to thank DAN P and his mate (cant recall his mate name 
)..........
Both Phil and SiB had purchased quite a few track sessions - all pre-paid at Castle Combe yesterday.
Well, on Phil's second session he lost all power (engine cut out near to pit entrance) and his Saph Cossie was towed back to our paddock spot.
Took ages to find out why the car would crank over but NOT start....eventually by swapping parts from SiB's car we realised it was the crankshaft position sensor, the cable had gone brittle and broken inside (looked perfect from the outside).
Dan P then suggested that Phil could use (and get back home) with his spare sensor.....only only one problem, Dan's spare sensor was at his home in Bristol........So Dan and his mate did the 60 + mile (1 hour & 10 mins) round trip and turned up with a fully working crank position sensor!
Without it this would have been yet another Cossie going home on a transporter

could of dropped into my house for a crank sensor though,,
only 5 mins from combe
(i wasnt at combe)
last time i saw lewis was the end of the summer!
last seen exiting a bristol car park.... sideways
