Thumbs up Motorsport developments in Blackpool

Just wanted to say the great feedback I had read about MSD is right.
Had the saph in today to get a setup & dyno and what a great service I received.
Found and fixed loads of little issues in the engine bay including an intermittent random misfire which has been doing my head in!!
Correct routing of some wires around the dizzy seems to have cured the issue.

I was running late to pick the car up, but the guys stayed till I got there, and rather than throw the keys at me the guy who worked on my car took the time to talk me through everything they had done, and some work that's required.

Top class service, an the car is running mint now!

Highly recommended. Think the guy was called Stuart?

Any way top bloke

Awesome to hear. This is what some garages used to be like in the old days, take the time to explain everything properly to you even though there about to go home and do the job right and take pride in your work. Obviously very passionate mechanics which is quite rare these days. Definitely taking my car there for a set up when I can afford it

What a top bloke, he talked me through loads of stuff on my car to help me understand it better. He clearly knows his stuff, and the fact the car drives a 100 times better shows that.

I need a new turbo due to wear, but once I get that sorted over the next few weeks it will be straight back to MSD for the stage 1 upgrade.

They are a great bunch!

I had issues and Sod's law late on a Friday! Had to return back up the M55 for them to look further into it rather than them telling me to rebook.

I won't be using anyone else for software/mapping.

Have a read of Stu's technical archives on his website. Very interesting reading.

Very kind words Jon, thank you. Just doing what you paid me for though mate. Glad to hear the gremlin has gone away now, that's good news... Always a pain to fix a fault we can't replicate, even on the Dyno.

Nice car that mate, we don't see many standard ones nowadays, so it's easy to forget how nicely they drive when they are still as Ford intended.

Thanks everyone else for the kind words too, I'm quite enjoying being back on the tools full time to be honest.

Fingers crossed Stu the misfire is cured, hasn't done it since you worked your magic on it!

Going to try and sort a new turbo tomorrow so hopefully it will be back with you very soon for that stage 1
