RS Turbo piston question

Default RS Turbo piston question

after taking the head off my s2, i noticed that the pistons have cut-outs in them, for the valves...


i thought cvh turbo pistons have a flat top, with no cutouts? its definately a turbo block, with oil return and sender for turbo.

escort Rst (not sure about Frst) have slight valve cut outs std, and flat tops.

they all have valve cut outs, except when they've been machined for low comp
