Default Help with gotech

Hi people

My mate is running go tech mfi ecu system on his s2 however we are having trouble setting it up. All the loom is installed etc, its just we cannot get the car to run. We have downloaded all the software and had 2 maps sent to us by jamsport and have loaded them, and still the car won't run. We have tried tweaking different factors on the map but just cannot get any real joy.

The best we've had is the car running on like 2/3 cylinders, and it wud actually idle at one point. However when you put the throttle down, the car ran worse and stalled. It seems to be the running and timing of the spark, but what we cant understand is why should it be wrong if we have had maps sent by jamsport....?

Has anyone else had any problems with this. I thought these things were meant to be easy to use.... It is an gotech mfi ecu, not the pro version.

Thanks

the mfi is a plug and play system, very very rare to have a problem with the installation.

i would advise to double check the wiring, i assume the fuel pump is working etc?

have you tried adjusting the potometer to any effect and you sure you've put leads back on right way. you really need to get a afr in the tailpipe to see what is happening with fuel as all any of us can do is guess at moment
