Default Opinions on Gotech mfi - features etc

Just want to get a unbiased opinion of the gotech mfi ecu and the features it provides. Any comments appreciated.

A few people on the sx owners club reckon it was a backwards step from my standard ecu so much so they pm'd me!

Is it on a par with a standard L8 or any of the other brands. I swapped from coilpacks to conventional coil and plugs which was also pointed out was a step backwards is this the case?

Here's the link to the gotec site and mine is the standard mfi. There is also software demonstrations on the site.
