I managed a personal best this week on shoulder press using smiths machine
125K shoulder press for 7 reps
3 warm up sets with bar only thats 35K
1 set of 12 with 75K
1 set of 10 with 115K
1 set of 7 with 125K
I usually press with 46K dumbells as we iant got any heavier used the smiths for a change, and ended up very surprized, not bad for a middle aged bloke of 45

For a shoulder press my PB on an Olympic bar rear press is 95 kg for 8
Deffo good for 105 for a double
On a smith I'm at 3 plates a side so with the bar at around 30 that makes 150 kg

Had a pb today on shoulders
4 plates a side on a shoulder press
Not including the bar/handles that's 160
8 good deep reps and no9 was as if someone doubled the weight lol
And that was military style
I will record it next week so people don't think I'm bull shitting lol

christ that some weight and military, was that standing ??
Yes that was a standing press
But was on a press machine
Basically a seat with a frame with 2 handles that you load the plates on to
1 of my training partners pressed 6 plates a side with out a spot
So that's 240 kg for 10
And he is a pro body builder and is silly big lol
I will have to record it next session as it wasn't recorded this time

That would just dislocate my shoulders lol, i do it seated on a smith machine but dont go to heavy due too a dicky shoulder..
Was talking with the 2 guys I Train with about popping down there for a session
And more than welcome on the session in my gym I train in
Defo give consideration to popping to Bedford too. Would be good to train with some big blokes. Certainly wouldn't hurt to get some tips on my training and be pushed a little too. Sounds like you guys go very heavy. Would beat being around some of the puffed up chest brigade of David Lloyd.

I do 150kg military press with my Olympic bar , 3 sets of 6 , no idea what i could do one off, but I've started training for highland games ( later strongman) so I maybe don't count, just got my dumper truck tyres in for lift and carry and flip, they're 320kg. I'll need to try and get some vids taken , I'm really into using equipment not in the gym as find a lot of the machines either don't go up enough or assist you too much,
Ps I'm 6'3 and 150kg, D
