If you're capable of benching 120 you shouldnt need to ask.

120kg's is a lot of weight. It's clearly working for you. I dream of pressing that kind of weight.

imho THE best exercise for chest strength and size. Its the core exercise of any good chest workout. It is mine anyhow.

Next your friend will be telling you the best way to a big chest is lots of flys. Without sounding rude I would be wary of any advice your friend gives, especially if hes on gear and tries to advise you on that as its a minefield.

But you've just said he has a small chest. Maybe ask someone down the gym with a big chest

Incline bench press moves the emphasis onto the upper chest.

As Keiron said. You're telling us someone with a small chest says benching is a waste of time. If he knew something you didnt he would have a big chest.
Flat Bench is one of the most important workouts you can do!!

I don't kno any big guys (and I train with a few) who don't flat press.
I, personally decline press more than flat but that's because my one area I'm not happy with is my lower chest

ive only really flat bench pressed its only now im starting to do incline and decline.i do flys sitting up on the machine along with other exercises during the week.i dont just do my chest lol.what made me wonder was we used to train together last yr and he always said he was good at flat bench presses.but when it come to it he had no strength to do it at all he was only doing like 60,65 kg and i was doing more then he kept on about im gonna do steroids etc so i left hm to it.every now and again he says do it like this and do it like that like he is interfering or sumat.and when he does do a decline bench press he has 2 people either side of the bar holding it for him and lowering it to his chest and he pushes it up and thats 160kg with help

Genetics determine an awful lot here... Everyone is different, and certain exercises can be more beneficial for some people than others. I bet only 50% of the top finishers at the Mr Olympia do flat bench.

It takes a lot of concentration focus the load on the pecs, I see so many people benching with their delts!
