The OZ P1 wheels on my Subaru have a build up of what looks like black tar in the corners between the spokes whats the best process other than a refurb to remove this?

same thing happend on my lttice wheels a while back on the sapph you could keep having a go at it with car shampoo or try a more dedicated wheel cleaner such as megs wheel brightner or billberry spray it on and let it dwell for a few minuites then aggitate it with a wheel brush should come off.

you could also try tardis on it,spray on to the affected areas and let it soak in.

Do that and if it doesnt budge all of it clay and lube will do it,then get yourself some wheel sealant and get a couple of coats on,the wheels will be a joy to clean after that.

Where can I get some wheel sealer? I like the sound of 'a joy to clean'. Pet hate of mine wheels, like cleaning the inside of the windscreen lol

Just had my comp's made over and i'm going to try to keep them up together.

Use it only when nothing else works but you do not want to use it regulary due to it being acidic.

If it looks like tar it probably is tar so why not try some bug and tar remover first? Once you have it all off then worry about sealing it.
