same thing happend on my lttice wheels a while back on the sapph you could keep having a go at it with car shampoo or try a more dedicated wheel cleaner such as megs wheel brightner or billberry spray it on and let it dwell for a few minuites then aggitate it with a wheel brush should come off.

you could also try tardis on it,spray on to the affected areas and let it soak in.
