Funny how some people have a hatred for iPhones, does make me laugh really. I guess they're just jealous really. I used to work with a bloke who had the same hatred with a passion, funny guy. The rest of us used to love winding him up. Come to think of it he was like it with anything like most that have this problem.. ie you'd turn up on a new R1 and he'd be like "oh dear, I'd have gone for the gsxr" even when he had the shittiest old crap ever (which I'd never dream of slating to him) etc, same with TV's game consoles (he went for the council estate console - xbox)

It makes me laugh, the Apple haters spend sooooo much time trying to justify why the Andriod xxx phone is better, has more features, has better this that and the other, and we are all just sheep fashion victims. You NEVER see iPhone users slating other phones, just suggesting they try one before writing it off.

I bought my iPhone after waiting ages for a different manufacturer to make a better product, but after trying most of the stuff on the market at the time (3gs), nothing even comes close to the iPhone for what I want from my phone.

I don't care what other people think of my phone, I have no brand affinity to Apple, I have no fashion sense what so ever, I just want the easiest to use, best interfaced product I can get, which happens to be the iPhone, by a country mile.

Apple haters will hate, thier loss IMHO

Whats Apples after care like? heard loads of good things about it so I am guessing that there is no need for some shite pretty much worthless insurance on things like iPhones/iPads?

 

It's pretty cast iron. They're very good at just swapping the phone for a new one if there are any issues, even ones that are clearly your own fault! I had a new one 9 months into my contract, and I know a bunch of people who have also had them replaced without issue.

The smart thing to do (if you're clumsy) would be to take out insurance after your warranty has expired.

Prices and tariffs wont be realease till about 2-3 days before the iphone 4s is released on Friday, so may be Tuesday next week, according to the phone call ive just had,strangely enough.

Apparently IOS 5 contributes to the better battery life with better power management so the current 4 will benefit too Happy Days

I don't care how it looks, I think it's a great mobile phone because:

It functions without issue
It is piss easy to use
does what I ask it to do
touch screen is brilliant
Camera is great! (HD video is also really good as is the sound quality)
battery life for me is perfect
never had any call issues where reception disappears...

However, ive just got of the phone to orange and it's all sorted for the 14th.

 

i;d be interested in the new iphone 4s if they have sorted signal issues out, for nearly a year i have argued with vodafone about ip4 as 99% of the calls in my home or local to it dropped out of signal, never had a isuue before this phone so finally 8 weeks ago they gave me the htc sensation , which has been 100% better signal wise not as easy to use as iphone but thought i would get use to it, but main fault is build quality they let dust in everywhere unlike iphone which is sealed the htc back cove r comes off, they let dust in around charge point and volume button, and on the right bottom corner which i cannot explain, inside case though internals not sealed so dust goes straight under glass between screen, absolute crap design, i do not work in a dusty environment,so not that purely in my pocket , i recieved my 3rd handset yesterday which i was told problem been rectified , dodgy batch etc etc and on opening has dust/debris under from manafacturing all in all shit experience of htc , ip4s on the way by looks of it, anyone got galaxy s2? any good?

 

am old skool ave still got the iphone 3g and it still works perfect, but am thinkin more bout gettin maself a 4s

So a Sony phone which has been the market leader in Camera phones for the last 10 years is shit to a fucking iphone 4 i would suggest wake the fuck up, android or not the Iphone has been shit it has only just improved and almost up to the market leaders with the IPhone4s...

with hand on heart the iphone 4(as its the same case is as the iphone 4s) is a design classic almost perfect, could do with a bigger screen for me well built, but as compered to the market leaders it is SHIT, sorry it has so much bad points to not take notice of the market leaders, but must admit the only phone which is close to build spec of the Iphone 4 is the the HTC sensation, it does not look as posh, but has a much stronger shell, the S2 is just a fucking great spec phone which is the best spec phone on the market which, which does every thing so fucking well, but made of plastic.... so you make your choice i for one want a phone which will to everything so fucking well with no issues.


if you want a phone which is basic and you think its the best when you brag to your mates, and you got to have the the Iphone 4s its old tech with classic face, must admit IOS5 is massive step forward, but its only to catch up!!!

I'm a bit gutted at how expensive the new one will be. I have the 3gs, and want to upgrade to the 4s... but the one I need (64gb) due to all my stuff is going to be well expensive, 2 year contract, Ł47pm and Ł300 handset price roughly.

Makes me want to join tesco mobile or kill myself ( whichever comes first/ both equally as sad)

 

Why follow the crowd.It was a big upgrade going from my old sony ericson to my samsung.

Ive been with orange for about 5 years now.I had a sony ericson satio before the phone i have now.It fooked up 3 times.Everytime i phone up orange there was a new phone at my house the next day.

Good service and i didnt have to leave the house.My mate had to go to the nearest apple store which was 40 mile away.
