well enjoy being ripped off by Apple they just love people like you they would not be were they are today if they were not people like you.
I just hate people being bum fucked by Apple they have done it for fucking years, when I was buying fucking Power Macs at work 10 years ago, I was being raped dry.

i'm just waiting for the call to upgrade when my current contract runs out in about 7 months 
my 3gs is fine and dandy for me to use and for just another camera on the front, i don't need anything else
plus tesco will give me a 1g, 1000 texts, 1000 minutes 30 day rolling contract for Ł15 as that's what they've offered my mrs (she's currently on a Ł10, 30 day 500mb, 500 text, 500 min deal) so i can always counter that argument
just wondering if the 5 will be out by then and i'll be able to "brag" about having the coolest thing on the planet

my issue with the many smart phones that are on the market is this:
the iphone is well known and for every little issue there is with it, there are an amry of nerds who will explain, in high nerd, how to fix them
with everything else, i'm not even sure what the numbers mean if i'm honest, a sansung thingy or a htc whatever or a thingyamywotsit don't seem to have the same sort of public knowledge or what goes wrong and what doesn't
and therefore it's an even more difficult minefield to negotiate when trying to figure out what might go wrong, what may have gone wrong, what other peole have had go wrong and all that
it's fine if you want to buy a car and the drivers choice would be a bmw m3 csl, but i'd be fine driving a little fiesta if all i wanted to do was go from a to b

It's a fairly decent spec upgrade really. Screen can't really be improved without getting bigger, processor and memory upgrades are substantial, and better battery life. What more could you actually need?

Android is Android Dojj, each manufacture add there own bits, but its still like adding their own app.
you can just format any Android phone to basic Android at any time, so its completely open.

Which is EXACTLY the problem with it. Android is like Jazz music - Everyone adds their own instrument regardless of what everyone else is playing, so it sounds shit. The individual performances may be good, but as a collective, it's a bit awkward, and well, not as good as the iPhone's symphony orchestra.

I took a gamble, and bought a 4, and I'm glad I did. The iOS5 will make it feel like a new phone anyway - and while I think the upgrades on the 4S are pretty cool, I can wait until my contract runs out without feeling like I wished I waited.

Agreed my Ibum friend, but that will not account for Androids almost 50% of the smart phone market, Apple will increase their market share next quarter, but will still fucking struggle. Apple will be putting everything into the Iphone 5 to gain it back.
Don't disagree with that, nor do I ultimately care if Android consumes even more of the market - I've not got any shares in Apple (They're already had more than enough of my money)!

NO competion for the guys, they LOVED IOS as it was so easy and user friendly

Its a massive improvement to Android, I suggested it to my builder who played with his wife's Iphone4 and did not get along with it and being a person who had a old nokia before, I thought he would struggle with the HTC, but he loves it. take that how you will

Android/Motorolla Nokia/Microsoft Apple/Apple Dont really see where Samsung and HTC fit in
Samsung also rely on Apple to purchase components so that in turn they can produce their own components for their own phones at a competitive price ( economies of scale ) if Apple start sourcing hardware elsewhere, or making in house then Samsung will be doubly fucked as they dont have a native OS either

I actually wanted to get away from the apple device as some things annoy me, trouble is I realised the good far out weighs the bad. It's such a slick device and so nicely built/finished, all the other wanna'be phones are poor feeling. And whole UI on the sensation was over egg'd, battery was much worse than the iphone, screen was almost unusable outside and it felt really fragile and cheap. I also had more crashes in 12 days than 3 years of iphones. I found it very frustrating trying to navigate or find things on the htc, no simple order to things.
I just don't get why some people find they need to make it their mission to slate the iphone, it's an amazing device really, nothing comes close out there. The design, software engineering and hardware quality are second to none. I just don't see how someone could hold a sensation and play with it, then play with an iphone4 and say the iphone was crap. Just turning the htc from landscape to portrait was almost enough to pi55 me off enough to kick it up in the air

Android is free(google says always will be free), so I cannot see Motorlla taking over the world, it will be which is the best built/featured handset which will win.
