Ive currently got a desire hd, great phone, altho a little bit big and feels like your on a computer when typing etc, not a phone!!

Because of that i downloaded the iphone keyboard and messaging software, so it looks like a iphone but works like a Andriod!! All was good until i smashed the desire to bits, its been sent to the insurance and im using a iphone 2 or 3, dunno which and i love it!!

Thinking of selling the new phone there going to give me and get a iphone 4!! Altho mine now looks like a iphone, soon as you go into a app (settings etc) it goes back to htc and i hate it

 

Wish I knew what was going on with the iphone 5. I've had my 3gs since launch and it needs replacing badly. I broke the original screen after 18 months of abuse, made the mistake of fitting a cheap screen which lasted a week. Fitted another cheap screen and broke that inside a week too moral is do not but cheap screens.

I'd decided I wanted to move away from the iphone and saw the HTC sensation spec, waited for it to come out and made the purchase.. Lucky for me o2 had run me through the returns procedure when I bought it (it's like they knew lol) and it went back within 14 days. You think the iphone battery is bad, try a sensation! And you couldn't even see the screen outside!

I'm not sure how long the iphone 4 design would last with me, I drop mine a lot and the glass back wouldn't lkke it.

Just wish there was some reliable info on the 5, I know apple like the secret squirrell stuff but I'm not even sure if there's deffinately going to be a 5 let alone if it's going to be different than the 4 (hardware'wise)

 

Nothing wrong with the iPhone 4 battery. I use mine for a few calls each day, bit of surfing and still get home after a 10hr day and its still 90%+.

 

Some iPhone 4's are better than others with batteries. My original 4 was very good if charged every night, but my current one has to be charged twice a day at present, but I am using it on FaceTime for 1-2 hours a day

 

just got off the phone after calling to upgrade my 3gs to a 4 and the camp guy at the call centre said they've just been given the nod that the iphone 5 is out in the next 30 days. i've left my upgrade for now and gone on to a 30 day rolling contract, if the 5 isn't what i want then at very least the 4 will come down in price when the 5 is released so i should get a better deal.

 

I took mine off charge this morning about 2 hours ago and its already at 88%

Tho i was on the phone for 30 mins this morning.

When i go to america and have bluetooth, mobile data etc off it lasts a few days

 

Thats the same experience i have had, the first one was great, but since getting it replaced with prob a refurb the battery is sh1te

 

Take it back to Apple. They'll replace it.

 

when i learnt how to close programs down on my iphone the battery life is miles better

double push the home button until you get the apps used at the bottom then hold until they wobble and have the minus sign and close them down

 

Its coming october 4th.

 

How do you know?

Apple should have said something by now if the release date was that close. Im not convinced.

 

Apple have scheduled a media conference for that date to show new hardware and softwear.

 

ah fair enough, but it wont be released then. Hopefully some news.

 

Todays the day we should find out whats coming on the new Iphone.

must admit I'm hoping for a bigger screen.

 

Nope the nicest thing is the decent battery life!

Sorry pal, but you obviously know nothing about cameras as its not the mega pixel you look at in a camera its the picture quality in different lights.

And ill be the first to admit i'm a ''Apple bummer'' as currently i belive they have the best products on the market hence why most people who've had one stick with them.

Personal opinions are exactly that. I don't go logging into "samsung" threads just to troll them.

The iPhone is my preferred phone. Simple as that. I don't see the SGs2 being a leap forward like I hope the iPhone 5 will be. Even the recently mentioned stats of the 4s are superior to the Gs2.

I'm happy waiting for the iPhone 5, using my 3GS in the meantime.

The IPhone 5 is a massive test for Apple and they know it, it better work.

Android phones are selling 3 to 1 over the Ishit and if this IFuckup5 cannot even make a call correctly again they are going going to fuck it, as only Apple fan boys will buy them, which is a small market.

Not blinkered mate, I use logic, I find the Iphone over priced for the spec and I cannot find a reason for it.
