zetec fuel rail
i was puting together the inlet side today using astra sri fuel rail frst injectors on std zt inlet the idel speed controll vale fouls on fuel rail any one know way past this,i thought about mounting on rear of manifold could this b the answer? also no one has replied to my last post about fitting manifold studs that go into oil ways can someone help!!!!!!!
if the idle control valve is fouling the fuel rail you could mount it on the back of manifold or remote mount it on the inner wing somewhere(i have just the thing). i was told you could use the vauxhall fuel rail but i'v never tried it. use somthing like jb weld etc for the studs. will be fine.
hey tony hows it going finaly got engine out car and stripted down got the astra fuel rail looks good just that idle controll valve, what do you mean run it remote mount,by linking up pies?by the way just going for d comp plate got 2.5mm copper plate looks okay what do you think of them
run a pipe from inlet to valve and run a pipe back again. u know what i think about d comp plates. d comp plates are ok. some people are lucky with them and some folk have nowt but trouble. good luck. you still wantin my ofab ecu???

bleed nipples not big enough. need to be about 10mm internal diameter iirc.
get your mate with the welder to weld up the original holes for iacv an re drill 2 holes at back beside act sensor somewhere. if you have a pillar drill you could drill out 2 bolts so as you are just left with a threaded tube. tap holes in back of inlet to suit. screw tubes in and put a nut on them to tighten up. jobs a good un. or if poss get him just to weld on 2 alloy stubs.
