just wondering what torque settings are for 1.8?
is it differant settings for using d comp plate,thanks tommy

 

just use standard setting with the plate - sorry don't have the figures to hand..

 

thanks rich another q if u dont mind sealing plate to block i am using curil T sealing compound suplied by supplier how did you put it on(eg brush or just speaded out?thanks tommy

 

either way - just enough to get an even coating, there should be minimal gap filling requirement if the faces are flat and smooth, so a consistent thin layer is all you need. Any excess will end up getting squeezed into the oilways, bores, boltholes etc which you need to avoid as far as possible.
