Default 2.0 Zetec Running Rich

Hello, would be really grateful for any ideas/help.
I have a 2.0 silver top Zetec in my mk3 fiesta which I put in myself.
I feel it’s running rich as the oil smells of fuel, it sometimes ‘pops’ from the exhaust and kangaroos on light throttle and when it’s warm it hunts on idle.
I have looked everywhere for air leaks, replaced the following sensors with new - air intake, coolant temp, lambda. I’m questioning the MAF but have no way of testing it, I’ve also swapped the TPS for another.

it pulls really well and revs lovely just do t want to do any damage caused by borewash!

Bill,

Have you tried running it with MAF disconnected?

Hello, thanks for your reply. Yes I did, didn’t seem to make a difference. I did swap it for another MAF and no change.

Have you checked the rubber hose that goes onto the PCV (runs under the coil pack bracket)

Whats the set up of the valve cover breather at the back?

I did actually find a small leak from a poor fitting hose under there and have rectified it.
the breather at the back of the cam cover just has a small filter on it

There will be a 12v supply green or may be purple ? A chassis earth black ? A common ecu earth, brown ? The sensor wire white ? It’s a while since I did a pre pats.
