Hi guys

Got my mk4 escort 2.0 zetec up and running. All seems good, idles perfectly but ive still got a delay on throttle. When you go to rev it it just hesitates then the revs jump up as normal, very anoying!! i thought it could be a faulty tps sensor but replaced that and no change. Could it be air intake temp sensor?

please help im sick of the work van now!!! lol

 

More likely to be an air leak. Check hoses and gaskets around inlet manifold.
