Revs not settling on Zetec
Revs not settling on Zetec, std management, NA, 2.0 silvertop recently put into mk4 Escort.
Ok when under 3000ish RPM, but any higher and the revs either take AGES to come back down or don't.... (requiring me to bump it into gear to get it back down to proper idle speed).
Any ideas?

Ive got the same problem since fitting a Focus inlet to my 2.0 na fiesta zetec.
Changed the iscv and no difference. Havent tried TPS yet. Some said air leak could cause it but havent checked yet as car is off the rd

cool, will start with cleaning out the ISCV...... then try another TPS
Mine's a bit of a mix and match too... 1.8 manifold with 2.0 TB and injectors etc.
